First released in 2006, Flaming Heart was the first whisky to combine the rich, complex spice of Scotch aged in new French oak with the evocative peat-reek smoke of Islay malt whisky. It created a genre-defying style that was smouldering, spicy, complex - and so popular that we’ve re-released it five more times in the years that followed.

This is our seventh edition of Flaming Heart, the whisky that revels in the harmonies between heavy peat and toasted French oak. Imagine Metallica with a backing orchestra, and you’re getting close.

With the best bands, each album is an opportunity to explore and experiment; every record is an evolution from the one before. For fans of Flaming Heart, we always seek to evolve the ‘sound’ and have introduced a deep fruitiness to the arrangement for the 2022 version.

FLAVOUR PROFILE
A high-energy nose with smouldering peat embers, cigar wrapper and candied ginger. The palate is oily, smoky, rich and savoury.

Our Maestro Mezcalero has skillfully combined these flavors, embodied by animal spirits: the armadillo, which encourages introspection and evokes the scent of damp earth; the boldness and intensity akin to the golden eagle’s claws; and the elusive smokiness of the jaguar, representing elegance and strength. Together, these elements form a captivating creature that redefines the essence of Mezcal Creyente, delivering an experience beyond compare. In this mezcal, the eyes are treated to a radiant clarity with silver accents, while the nose encounters a fusion of herbal pineapple, smoky earthiness, and faint pear/apple notes. On the palate, a pronounced smokiness intertwines with subtle sweetness, complemented by fruity and earthy undertones.

On October 1, 1953, William Samuels Sr. purchased Burks Distillery, which was situated in Loretto, Kentucky, for $35,000. Five years later, the distillery released the first bottles of Maker's Mark Bourbon Whisky, which featured the distillery's distinctive red wax seal. The distillery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and was listed as a National Historic Landmark in 1980. Made from a mash of corn, wheat, and malted barley, Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky (spelled without an "e" to honor the Samuels family's Scottish heritage) manages to marry large-scale, global production with a rich tradition in a way that few other distilleries can rival. The actual "makers" of Maker's Mark still rotate the barrels in the distillery's warehouses, bottle the whisky and dip the bottles in wax all by hand. Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon is special in that red winter wheat serves as the replacement for rye in the recipe. This special holiday release is bottled at a higher 101 proof that gives the profile some additional boldness, richness, and intensity that fans of the original are bound to appreciate.

Napa Valley is known the world over for fine cabernet sauvignon. Vineyards here are blessed with a great diversity of soils and microclimates and express their distinct personalities through remarkable wines. We blend our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from special spots throughout the region, including the renowned cab appellations of Rutherford and Oakville, which impart classic Napa Valley bold fruit intensity, as well as the warmer Calistoga area to the north and the cooler southern reaches of the Suscol watershed, which contribute layers of complexity and depth of flavor.

This wine reveals a fragrant, complex bouquet of ripe blackberry and boysenberry complemented by notes of dark chocolate and toasty oak. Rich and smooth on the palate, the sumptuous dark fruit is balanced by fresh acidity and lush tannins with a lingering, elegant finish and a hint of minerality.

BLEND: 91 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 2 % Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec

Team 144 Commemorative Bottle is 90 Proof and has been aged more than 2 years (30 months) in Owensboro, Kentucky. The Bourbon is rich in color with an amber hue and made with all Kentucky-grown corn, majority coming from Daviess County. The mash bill consists of 70% corn, 21% winter rye, and 9% malted Two-Row and Six--Row barley. The higher rye content results in a bourbon with warming spice notes on the nose and palate. Additional aroma notes to look for include cinnamon, dried cherry, and a light leather.

Taste: Notes of cinnamon, vanilla, caramel and chocolate mint.

Finish: Long and dry with oak and pepper and a caramel loop.

Frida Kahlo Tequila Blanco is naturally fermented up to four days. The agave juices are then double distilled in antique copper stills and bottled un-aged. The result is smooth super-premium tequila that mixes perfectly with your favorite drink.Frida Kahlo Tequila is all-natural. No artificial ingredients are added to accelerate the fermentation process. Hand selected at the peak of maturity, the agave is slowed cooked inside an antique adobe brick oven; then steamed and cooled to remove any bitterness; and finally the agave is pressed to extract only the finest juices for am extra super-premium Tequila.

Sangre De Vida Tequila Reposado is a beautiful amber colored drink from Mexico. Special mention to its bottle A human heart! The reason for this is that tequila is the soul of Mexico. The drink itself has a spicy character. Fruity aroma full of caramel and soft notes of agave.

Righteous Road The Fifth Cup Liqueur is a beautifully hand-crafted blend inspired by timeless flavors and traditions. Made with the finest figs, apricots, dates, almonds, and pistachios, it offers a taste experience reminiscent of renewal and springtime. Traditionally inspired, The Fifth Cup is intended to be savored during Passover as a gesture of gratitude to the Almighty and enjoyed year-round as a celebration of sustenance and blessings.

A 6 month accelerated-aged Kentucky Bourbon. WBW has a unique flavor with a light front end of Cabernet berries with a smooth bourbon middle and a long-lasting Carmel finish on the back of the mouth. The mash was made in Kentucky, then sent in barrels to a manufacturer to accelerate the aging process by using ultrasonic waves (more Bourbon to stave contact). The Bourbon was then finished at our San Diego distillery in French Oak Cabernet wine barrels used to make Charles Woodson's Napa Valley wine.

All of our spirits are inspired by the Golden State and crafted from locally sourced organic or wild foraged ingredients. We proudly support California wildlife and nature conservation. Distilled and bottled by Golden State Distillery LLC in Sebastopol, California.
