The History

Sazerac de Forge & Fils is a cognac that honors the legacy of its founder, Bernard Sazerac de Forge. He established a cognac house in France in 1782. In order to produce our own “Finest Original” cognac, Sazerac Company recently returned to Cognac and acquired Domaine Sazerac de Segonzac. Through this, the company is reviving the tradition of producing fine cognac, similar to the ones enjoyed by Bernard Sazerac de Forge in the 17th to the 19th centuries. By using the same traditional methods, Sazerac de Forge & Fils allows you to experience cognac as it was 200 years ago.

TASTING NOTES

AROMA: The complex aroma is of yellow stone-fruits, dried flowers, citrus peel and warm spice.

FLAVOR: Silky, creamy textures of flavor are of dried fruits, pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.

FINISH: The finish has soft oaky tannin notes with vanilla and black peppercorn.

Hand-crafted on a tropical hillside surrounded by fruit trees and rose bushes in the village of Santa Maria Albarradas. Agave: Wild Jabali. Naturally fermented and twice distilled in wood-fired copper stills. Nose of fresh figs, baked apples, and parmesan rind. Palate of bright acidity with notes of sweet violets and tarragon. Creamy finish with hints of sandalwood. ABV 47.

Aroma: Oaky Vanilla, Spicy backdrop

Flavor: Medium-bodied, Mellow hints of Caramel and Vanilla

This one changed the way we think of bourbon, all because one man changed the way he thought about making it. Bill Samuels, Sr., simply wanted a whisky he would enjoy drinking. Never bitter or sharp, Maker's Mark is made with soft red winter wheat, instead of the usual rye, for a one-of-a-kind, full-flavored bourbon that's easy to drink. To ensure consistency, we rotate every barrel by hand and age our bourbon to taste, not time. Each and every bottle of Maker's^® is still hand-dipped in our signature red wax at our distillery in Loretto, Ky., just like Bill, Sr., would have wanted.

While most vodkas made from wheat, corn, or potato may only take a few months to produce, Blue Weber Agave slowly matures under the warm Mexican sun for up to 7 years, before being meticulously harvested by hand. It’s this commitment to patience that cultivates a vodka of uncompromising quality, made from a noble plant.

We hand select and distill 100% Blue Weber Agave in Jalisco, Mexico, before importing to the Weber Ranch Distillery in Muenster, Texas, where it is combined with water from the local Trinity Aquifer, then further distilled in our bespoke copper pot and column stills, filtered, and bottled. Our exclusive process combines methods used to craft tequila with the complexity of transforming agave into a premium vodka of extraordinary character.

Production Notes

Aged for more than 2 years in the world’s finest French White Oak Cabernet barrels, it’s one of the smoothest Barrel Strength Añejo Tequilas in the market, with an 86.2 Proof

Note: Our 2nd release of Barrel Strength is 88 Proof (44% Alc./Vol.) and still as smooth on the palate as our regular Añejo.

Tasting Notes

CaliFino Reposado Tequila is made with 100% Ultra-Premium Blue Weber Agave, aged for 1 year in American White Oak Barrels. This creamy, honey Reposado is perfect to mix in your favorite cocktail, sipped neatly, or on the rocks. 

Beau Joie Brut Rosé is a meticulously crafted champagne created from an exquisite blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. Following the disgorgement process, a low dosage of sugar is added, preserving the wine's inherent freshness, vibrant acidity, and natural aromas. This results in a perfectly balanced champagne that offers a light, crisp taste. It is delightfully fresh and fruity, with a beautiful color of delicate rose petals.

Central to the flavor profiles created at El Pandillo is the source of water used and in the case of Terralta, it all comes from a deep well, 150 meters down in the earth. What does this mean for flavor? To answer this question, we will first have to talk about the two other water sources at the distillery for contrast.

First, there is the harvested rain water, and secondly, a fresh spring. These two sources are used in a close to 50/50 ratio for 3 of the 4 other brands made at El Pandillo - Pasote, G4, and ArteNOM. The flavors here are clean and crisp, as one would expect from rain water, backed by floral and herbal notes. Volans, the 4th brand produced at 1579 is a blend of spring and well water, and it’s here where the minerality of the earth encasing the deep well begins to come through. But in Terralta, as it’s only source for water, the soil and earth are king.

Where the other profiles are lofty and light, you’ll find Terralta firmly secured in the ground from which the agave grow. The soils of Los Altos are rich in iron, giving them a red coloring, and softness compared to the rockier soils of the Valley of Tequila.
