Canadian Club Chronicles 43 year old No. 3 Limited Release Canadian Whisky
This Canadian Club is the oldest Canadian whisky ever released! Canadian Club Chronicles 43 Years Old is the third release in the Chronicle Series, an ongoing effort from Canadian Club to release ultra-aged whiskies from the same stock distilled in 1977. The 2020 edition is called The Speakeasy, honoring the brand’s role during Prohibition. Before it was bottled, a splash of 11-year-old rye was blended into the whisky to brighten it up. When it was produced in 1977, it was also blended with small additions of cognac, rye and sherry. Under Canadian law, distillers can add up to 9.09% of other alcoholic liquids to their whiskies. Canadian Club Chronicles 43 Years Old is bottled at 45% ABV and has been released in limited edition.
