Casa Di Terra Mosaico Bolgheri 2019 Wine
Mosaico is a pure Merlot: the richness of this grape is enhanced in the Bolgheri terroir. As in a "mosaic": from a distance the image is clear, but the surprising freshness and complexity create a perfect balance.
VINIFICATION AND AGING
Fermentation: in stainless steel tanks with a temperature of 26/28°C for 22 days conducted with indigenous yeasts naturally present on the grapes, spontaneous malolactic fermentation during the refinement.
Refinement: at least 12 months in 2nd - 3rd passage French oak barriques and 6 months in the bottle
This wine is bottled without being filtered or treated for clarification in order to preserve its integrity.
TASTING NOTES
The color is deep intense ruby red, on the nose the typical notes of cassis, currants and ripe red fruit are embellished with notes of cinnamon, coffee and tobacco which contribute to its great elegance and aromatic breadth. The mouth is juicy, sweet with well-polished tannins supported by a long finish.
