Devil's River whiskey is distilled using a signature method, in traditional copper pot stills designed for distilling complex, flavorful, dark spirits. The Bourbon is crafted from a high-rye proprietary blend of meticulously selected grains, giving the spirit its warm, golden notes. The grains are distilled with proprietary yeast strains designed to boost its bold flavors. The mash is then distilled in traditional copper pot stills and combined with the pure, iron-filtered, limestone-filtered spring water of the whiskey's namesake, before being aged in dark #4 charred oak barrels. This dark char enhance the bourbon's deep amber colors and bolster its sweet flavors. Chill filtered and bottled at 45% ABV you can expect smooth sweet flavors of oak, honey, and caramel. Devil Rivers Bourbon earned five gold medals "Best Bourbons 10 Years and Younger" by four separate spirits competitions, including the 2017 Denver International Spirits Competition, 2017 Los Angeles International Spirits Competition, 2017 New York's Top Fifty and the 2017 International SIP awards.

Crafted as Devils River's answer to the recent cry for more rye whiskeys, this small-batch affair is also their way of paying tribute to American whiskey. It consists of a mash of 51% rye, 45% corn, and 4% barley, which results in an exquisitely balanced taste profile with prominent spice, as well as notes of vanilla, apples, and pepper. The spice balances perfectly with the sweetness of honey and maple and brings some undertones of wood and pepper.

Devils River Cinnamon Bourbon Whiskey starts with our award-winning sinfully smooth Devils River Bourbon which uses the exceptionally pure, fresh limestone-filtered water from the Devils River. We infuse our whiskey with all-natural flavors and add a touch of unfiltered Blue Weber Agave nectar from Jalisco, Mexico. The result is our sinfully smooth “Sin-namon” Whiskey which provides a little bit of spice on the palate, rounds out with a kiss of sweetness, and a touch of heat in the finish. We start with our award-winning,  Devils River Bourbon Whiskey and add a touch of organic, unfiltered Blue Agave nectar from Jalisco, Mexico to create a truly one-of-a-kind Texas-Mexico whiskey experience, Devils River Agave Bourbon Whiskey, 80-proof 40% ABV.

Crafted from hand-selected bourbon barrels and made with 100% Texas grains sourced from a co-op of Texas farmers, Devils River Distiller’s Select is a “grain to glass” Texas Straight Bourbon.

THE LONE STAR STATE HEAT

Distiller’s Select is distilled and aged in the hot Texas climate for over two years in a new #3 charred American oak barrel. The Texas heat naturally accelerates the aging cycle making it the perfect location for our rickhouse. As the whiskey expands deeper into the oak staves, our bourbon developed its dark color and complex flavor.

WATER AND WHISKEY

Once our Distiller determines our whiskey is ready to bottle, Distiller’s Select is then brought to its final 120-proof by marrying the bourbon with spring water from the Devils River Region. Resulting in a well-balanced, high-proof bourbon.
