Saint Liberty Whiskey continues its celebration and honoring the untold stories of pioneering, Prohibition-era bootleggers, with our second bootlegger in the series, Josephine Doody. Josephine is still to this day known as the Bootleg lady of Glacier Park in Montana. We honor her with an exclusive lot of Straight Rye out of Tennessee, which is then perfected with the same pure Rocky Mountain water that she would have used 100 years ago.

Our first bootlegger is Bertie Brown who was a woman of great courage and determination. She arrived in what was then the Montana Territory in 1898 from Missouri, a young, single, African American woman determined to make it on her own. We honor Bertie with a distinctive and wonderful 4yr Texas bourbon out of Central Texas and then we perfect it in Montana by proofing it with the same pure Rocky Mountain Water Bertie would have used 100 years ago.

Texas- Four Grain Bourbon from Texas, finished in Colorado with pure Rocky Mountain water. The nose is inviting with notes of caramelized vanilla, dried apricots, and allspice. The palate is warm with cinnamon, brown sugar, black tea & butterscotch for a delightful creamy-smooth finish.
