JCB Gin is infused in a two-step process: Eleven plants and botanicals, including juniper, a touch of roses, and coriander among others are steeped into the spirits, while seperately, a distillation of an additional thirty-three biodynimic herbs, plants and botanicals including chamomile, honeysuckle, dandelion, calendula, borage, valerian, stinging nettle, lemon balm and yarrow is crafted. The Biodynamic herbs in our gin are known to be the best for the human body, and the most incredible contributor to health. A very unique and proprietary process was created to allow the most elegant and ethereal expression of caviar to be present and influence the taste of the vodka without overpowering it. The XO blend is composed entirely of cognacs coming from the Grande Champagne area, the most prestige sub-district.
JCB XO Cognac combines all the characteristics of the Grande Champagne - distinction, the complexity of the aromas and tastes, and long flavors with balanced woody impressions.

JCB XO is a blend of Cognac aged 38-42 years.

Tasting Notes:

Origin: 100% Grande Champagne, a blend of several cognacs which come mainly from vines around the Segonzac area. The vines are on the hillsides, so the terroir is excellent with the vineyards on the slopes, where the vines benefit from excellent drainage, exposure and ripening of the grapes.

Color: Polished mahogany with shades of gilded copper

Nose: The nose expresses mature aromas such as toffee, black chocolate, leather, blond tobacco and hints of white flowers.

Palate: In the mouth the XO is very smooth and nicely balanced by the powerful taste of fine and complex tannins. There is an extraordinary length.

Tasting Notes

Yellow in color with green and golden reflections, this very bright wine presents an elegant train of bubbles. The nose opens on white blossom then citrus, before developing pleasant buttery and brioche notes. Full and rounded in the mouth, with a certain vivacity, and secondary aromas of great complexity, that evolve over time.

A deep, golden yellow color in the bottle with a fine, sparkling perlage. A truly smooth and well-balanced Champagne, the nose is fresh and warm that reveals aromas of white fruits followed with subtle citrus notes. Silky texture with a lively edge, this wine shows its maturity with notes of brioche but plenty of intense freshness leaving a crisp, long-lasting finish. WHAT THE NUMBER 44 SIGNIFIES: Prior to 1844 and the discovery of the wire cage used to keep the cork in place, Champagne was seen as the work of the devil himself -- nicknamed le vin du diable, or "the devil's wine."

STORY

Jean-Charles was born in 1969, the year that mankind went to the moon. As such, 69 represents unlimited expression, freedom, creativity, intellectual revolution, artistry, and refinement. Of course, 69 is also a rosé brut based exclusively on pinot noir; a rosé and femininity.
