Legend has it that the first ruler of Japan descended from an ocean princess-dragon. In the depths of the Pacific, this princess lived in a palace made of corals-the life-givers and purifiers of the ocean.

Drawing inspiration from this legend, we named our rum, Minoki – Ocean Princess and embodied to our design the mythical princess, dragon and Fuji-yama, the symbol of Japan.

Known as the rainforests of the ocean, coral reefs are essential for life under water. Today, they are in decline due to environmental stress and need our help. To protect and restore the coral reefs around the world, we are committed to donating a portion of our earnings and raising awareness through the lifetime of Minoki.

Minoki Mizunara Cask Finished

Inspired by the legend, we finished the finest Japanese and Pacific rums in Mizunara – Japanese Oak Casks before filtering through washed ashore and bleached Japanese corals to create a perfectly smooth blend with hints of Japanese tropical fruits on the nose and spiced-vanilla in the finish.
