Fruitiness, freshness and complexity are the three principal defining characteristics of Segura Viudas Brut. The fruit and the freshness stem from the meticulous care with which we handle our grapes. The complexity comes from a very special technique, which involves autolysis of the yeast cells in the base wine for 3 months before bottling, and a second autolysis of the yeast cells for a minimum of 12 months ageing in bottle.

Reserva Heredad was created to set a style in the world of high-end sparkling wines. We make it with the aim of offering an elegant and versatile cava. To do this, we select only the best wines from each harvest, which will then age in the bottle in contact with their lees for more than 24 months. The ageing process ends when the expert gives each bottle the magic touch with the “poignettage”, a twist of the wrist that intensifies the contact of the lees with the wine, thus giving a more complex bouquet.
