Distilled in 100% copper stills in small batches that help reveal all the richness of its flavours. Thanks to the METAXA Master’s know-how on processing the botanicals to be incorporated into Ouzo, the fine character of the mastic is perfectly balanced with anise. This method brings the refreshing feeling of the sea breeze into METAXA Ouzo, that subtly guides through the bouquet of botanicals and spices and finally surprises with complexity and balance.

This second Collector's Edition is presented in a porcelain bottle design by Cacao Rocks, a Greek street artist who has developed his own distinctive and vibrant creative style, using Greek symbols and folklore in a modern and contemporary way.

I had the honor of being asked by the House of Metaxa to design one of their iconic decanters. Inspired by my grandfather, I wanted to follow his path, re-visit the Cyclades and take pictures of their typical landscapes. This is how I created the new METAXA Grande Fine design, my own interpretation of Cycladic architecture, a tribute to my grandfather, says Cacao Rocks.

The decanter is decorated with patterns inspired by the windmills of Mykonos and other Cycladic symbols, using the artist's color palette: white for the Cycladic architecture, blue for the Aegean Sea and gold for the sun.

A creation of the fifth Metaxa Master, Constantinos Raptis. An exploration through a unique taste with a mature and distinctive character. METAXA 12 STARS is best explored neat or on a single rock but bartenders and mixologists enjoy offering it as a stand out ingredient in signature cocktails.
