Famille Paquet is a 30 hectare property located in the village of Davayé, in the Mâconnais. First created in 1980 by Jocelyne and Michel Paquet under the name Domaine des Valanges, it is now run by their three sons Jean-Baptiste, Mathieu and Camille. The Paquets take great care of their vineyards, using organic and biodynamic compost and manage each of their 50 plots individually. The property is currently in conversion to organic viticulture and will be fully certified in 2021.

Pouilly Fuisse is a remarkable wine crafted by the Paquet family, who have devoted their passion and expertise to producing exceptional Burgundy wines for decades. The Kontogiannis family established their winery as a way to reconnect with nature and embrace a more pure way of life. Michalis Kontogiannis, leaving behind the bustling city of Athens and a career in journalism, took on the responsibility of managing the family's estates in the village of Penteskoufi, Corinth. Since 1999, they have practiced organic farming, and in 2006, they began employing biodynamic methods. The estate primarily focuses on cultivating olive trees and grapevines, which produce both petimezi (a traditional grape syrup) and exquisite wines. Among their impressive wine collection is Mangata Mavroudi, featuring a label reminiscent of a work of art. Mavroudi of the Peloponnese, a grape variety closely related to Agiorgitiko, showcases enticing aromas of red fruits, velvety tannins, and hints of sweet spices.

Maker Notes

We use only the finest Blue Weber agave, grown in rich volcanic soil of Jalisco and tended to by skilled agave farmers. Our tequila undergoes a unique 9 month aging process, that starts with the barrel staves being coated with the sweetness of cooked agave that has been caramelized into the wood of our "11 Year-Vintage" barrels. Using estate-grown piñas the tequila is then added to the barrels, which are gently rolled to enhance the natural oak and agave flavors. After resting for 9 months, the result is our reposado tequila, Eros: a sweet, flavorful spirit with a light amber hue, ideal for sipping, on the rocks, or in cocktails.

Kings County Distillery Straight Bourbon is a bourbon made like a scotch whiskey. We use 80% New York organic corn and 20% English Golden Promise barley for a high-malt recipe that forgoes the wheat or rye typical of Kentucky bourbons. This mash is then double pot distilled for a rich and flavorful white spirit. After aging in a variety of new charred oak barrels for anywhere between 3 and 6 years, our bourbon is carefully blended to ensure quality and complexity. With prominent notes of caramel and vanilla, as well as undertones of dark berries, this bottle is cited frequently in lists of best craft bourbons.

Winter Barreled Gin barrel rested version of the Autumn Gin. The +6 months in the barrel adds notes of brown sugar, vanilla and caramel to the spice notes of clove and cardamom recipe. This is one crazy hybrid of gin and whiskey that holds up in an old fashioned or on its own with a cube.
