All the careful craft and attention to detail that goes into our Tequila Blanco gives us an unparalleled foundation to create a truly exceptional Tequila Reposado. It is aged for a month in Burgundy and Bordeaux barrels, and then for five more months in French oak Chardonnay casks. This variation of barrel finishing is unprecedented in the world of tequila. With our commitment to non-traditional yeasts and longer cooking, fermenting and distilling practices, our tequila is unlike any other Reposado available today. Our goal isn’t to make more tequila, just to make it better.

Traverse City Whiskey Co. was founded by Chris Fredrickson, Jared Rapp, and Moti Goldring. Fredrickson discovered his great-grandfather's whiskey distilling patents in the 1920s. This was the catalyst behind the passion project. The brand now has an extensive lineup. This flavorful Traverse City Whiskey is pure and uncut, bottled at full barrel proof. Distilled from a mash of corn, rye, and malted barley, this bourbon's proof varies from 115-120. Surprisingly smooth and complex, Traverse City Barrel Proof Bourbon earned 91 points from Wine Enthusiast in 2018. 

One wine of absolute quality
Opus One is the realized dream of two men: Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Chateau Mouton Rothschild in Bordeaux and Napa Valley vintner Robert Mondavi. Together, our founders set out to create a single wine dedicated to the pursuit of uncompromising quality. This singular mission shapes every vintage, today and for generations to come.

The vineyards enjoyed idyllic growing conditions with consistent weather and milder temperatures in 2018. The beginning of the year was notably dry; however, well-timed rainfall just before budbreak provided the necessary water for canopy development. Flawless conditions ensued during flowering and fruit set which led to higher-than-average yields. While the season got off to a later start, veraison occurred only seven days later than the average which gave the fruit the necessary time to ripen perfectly. Harvest began on September 19th with a steady pace that continued until the last fruit arrived on October 25th.

The Opus One 2018 offers profuse aromas of blackberry, cassis and black cherry. Elegant notes of violets, white pepper and rose petals follow and together they deliver a very seductive bouquet. The seamlessly layered flavors build to a crescendo of fresh and juicy black-fruit, accented with hints of orange zest, licorice and dark chocolate. Beautifully balanced, the smooth round tannins and fresh acidity combine to create a soft, creamy mouthfeel and extend the flavors into a long persistent finish.

Angostura® 1919 is a specially blended multiple award winning rum, which celebrates a very particular date in the development of the rum industry in Trinidad & Tobago, as well as the Caribbean.

After a fire in 1932, which destroyed the Government Rum Bond, the master blender of Fernandes Distillers, J.B. Fernandes, bought the charred casks, only to discover they had been filled in the year 1919.

The prized rum was skillfully blended and called "1919 Aged Rum."

Hidden beginnings 
Taking advantage of a secret waterfall, generations of the Connell family made illicit spirits in the wooded hills behind where our distillery stands today. our legal status may have changed but we still use water from the same hills today, connecting us to our origins like a river to its source.

Glen of the geese 
Every winter, the hill behind our distillery becomes a beacon for migrating flocks of geese, which is why our home on the highland border is known as the glen of the geese or, in gaelic, glen guin. but our guests have inspired more than just our whisky's name. in a world that seems to spin faster every day, we're proud to be the slowest whisky distiller in scotland.

And while our methods might appear meandering, they are anything but. like those geese, we're guided by an unwavering clarity of purpose and the knowledge that sometimes the right way is a long way.

Our unique process
In the stillness of our quiet glen, we know that patience is rewarded. nothing is rushed and every stage of our whisky-making process is given as long as it needs. uniquely-shaped stills nurse the simmering wash during the longest distillation of any Scottish whisky, prolonged contact with the copper coaxing sweet and fruity notes from the gently rolling vapors. that's why our barley is only ever dried by air, allowing the true Glengoyne spirit to shine through.

From here the precious spirit is transferred to casks made to order from European and American oak, themselves prepared for six years before they're ready to carry our whisky to maturity. the natural color of the whisky is a testament to decades within the wood alone. nothing else is added, this is how we craft a whisky unlike any other. this is the Glengoyne way

It's then aged in our limestone cellar to extract a unique, flavorful taste profile. Participants in this special barrel program get their say in the selection of these wooden staves. The finishing staves can be any combination of five flavor profiles chosen especially for this program. DeLen Aejo is aged to perfection. Made from 100% highland blue weber agave, slow roasted for remarkable depth and complexity. Blending the art of Tequila with mastery of French wine making, DeLen Aejo is aged for over a year, first in American Oak barrels and finished in French Oak wine casks. The result is a full-bodied tequila with notes of rich vanilla, caramel, sweet oak and subtle dried fruit.

Twisted Tattoo is the new 16 year old limited edition from Highland Park. Rich and full-bodied, this whisky has been crafted using an innovative combination of Spanish Rioja seasoned casks and first-fill bourbon casks a first for the distillery. The packaging for this edition was designed by Danish tattoo artist Colin Dale who is renowned for his creations using the classic stick and poke tattoo technique. This non-electric method is done freestyle with needle and ink, building each intricate design dot by dot.

We have a tradition of defying convention and that’s how we came to create this distinct and bold single malt whisky and its equally distinct and bold packaging.

The name and design was inspired by the Norse legend of the Midgard serpent, which grew so large it could twist right around the earth to bite its own tail; and we developed the packaging in partnership with Danish tattoo artist, Colin Dale, who uses both ancient and modern tattooing techniques to tell stories on the skin.

Using first-fill Rioja casks in combination with refill casks was a first for Highland Park and the result is a rich and contemporary single malt whisky with very distinctive character. You’ll find generous layers of sweet vanilla, sun-ripened peaches, summer berries and full-bodied red wine, combined on gust of heather-rich peat smoke.

We’ve been crafting our award-winning whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define our whisky, but it’s Orkney that sets it apart.
