The alluring dense, dark plum color of the 2016 Oakville Cabernet is the first indication of the rich extraction in this wine. The finish is layered with baking spices, wild blackberries, and a hint of dried black currant. Lemons from the United States and limes from Southeast Asia are the basis of our Citroen Vodka. Like these fruits, the flavor is fresh and intense with a touch of bitterness from the rinds, providing good balance. The finish is clean yet long.

Winemaker Notes
Bright, polished and impeccably balanced, this wine embodies the depth and nuance of the finest Sonoma Coast Pinot Noirs. The nose offers a melange of black raspberry, Bing cherry, rhubarb and forest floor aromas, along with hints of holiday spice. On the palate, velvety tannins carry the lush, flowing flavors to a vibrant fruit and spice finish.

Production
With just 50% of our average rainfall to start the season we took proactive measures in our vineyards, including early suckering and pruning, careful cover crop management and targeted irrigation to ensure healthy vines. Spring and summer brought mild-to-warm temperatures that allowed the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, resulting in early flavor development at lower Brix with high acidity. To achieve balanced acids with even more flavor development we waited patiently until September 1st to begin our Chardonnay harvest and completed our last Pinot Noir pick on October 2nd. The resulting wines offer ideal ripeness, supple textures and beautifully concentrated flavors.

Chivas Regal The Icon is Scotch whisky crafted to perfection. Whiskies that make up this exquisite blend originate from distilleries no longer in existence, making them extremely rare and incredibly exclusive. Coveted by whisky aficionados the world over, these precious rare malts are blended together and matured to craft a timeless icon that’s only released in highly limited qualities every year.

Maker Notes

Spicy vanilla fruit, ripe apples and a rich, luxurious mouthfeel. This is the result of 18 long years and a generous proportion of first-fill sherry casks. And of the patience we take over the slowest distillation in Scotland.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Medium gold with a rich glow.

NOSE: Awash with red apple, ripe melon and fresh banana. Heavenly and well rounded, it drifts into hot porridge topped with brown sugar.

PALATE: Full bodied, round and rich. At first macerated fruits, marzipan and walnuts; then warm spices, dry cocoa and lingering Seville marmalade.

This exceptional tequila starts as 100% weber blue agave which is triple-distilled for exceptional smoothness. It is then rested in American white oak barrels for at least 12 months to enhance its character – adding an array of subtle flavors, and a unique smoky finish. Finally, this aged liquid is filtered through diatomaceous earth to gently extract the color, rounding out the flavor profile.

AROMA: Light wood notes followed by vanilla and honey

The Pratt Standard Cocktail Company was founded in November 2014 by Tory Pratt. At first, it was called TRUE Syrups & Garnishes and the name was later changed to reflect their goal of connecting people via mixology. Based in Washington, D.C. they specialize in cocktail syrups that are focused on authenticity and flavor and take their inspiration from the pre-Prohibition era. They spread their passion and dedication via the quality of their products as well as through cocktail classes. Pratt comes from a family that has worked in the food industry since she can remember. It wasn't until she bought a high-quality craft gin that she realized a cheap run-of-the-mill tonic simply wouldn't cut it. After much research and experimentation she ended up with the True Tonic Syrup, the first in the growing lineup of syrups that now include the Ginger Syrup, Grenadine Syrup, Kola Syrup, and Rich Simple Syrup. Now there's even the seasonal Spring Syrups series with Blackberry Mint, Rosemary Grapefruit, and Bitter Lemon variations. The name of the game is super-high quality and versatility, eschewing artificial additives, and creating syrups that complement rather than overpower the spirits they are mixed with. A lot of research goes into the creation of each hand-crafted syrup. The True Rich Simple Syrup is crafted with the finest-quality raw demerara sugar, which is closer to what was used in the late 19th-century cocktail boom.
