After emigrating from Wales to Kentucky in 1783, Evan Williams established a distillery along the banks of the Ohio River. The location of his eponymous distillery, situated on the banks of the Ohio River, is officially marked, declaring Evan Williams as Kentucky's First Commercial Distiller. Evan Williams was an American pioneer being one of the first distillers in the US to use corn. The Evan Williams brand was founded in celebration of Williams. Heaven Hill produces their signature bourbons which are bottled in Bardstown, Kentucky. Evan Williams has long been ranked as one of the world's best-selling whiskey brands. Heaven Hill distillery was founded in 1935, Immediately after Prohibition ended in the United States in 1933, after a group of investors decided to be ready for the rebounding market. The investors including the famous Joseph L. Beam. Heaven Hill is located on a massive estate boasting 22 multi-story rick-houses across hundreds of acres of land. Now known as the Heaven Hill Bernheim Distillery they have the second-largest inventory of Bourbon Whiskey in the world. It is also the only remaining family-owned distillery in Kentucky. Evan Williams has a diverse core lineup, including their very popular signature Black Label, as well as some limited releases. Every year since 1983 Master Distiller Parker Beam (and now his son Craig) have chosen select barrels for their single barrel series, barrels selected to their exact specifications. This Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon is a five-time "Whiskey of the Year" award winner. This series is vintage dated, meaning each bottle is marked with the vintage date it was put into oak, along with the year it was bottled and the exact serial number of the single barrel that the Bourbon was drawn from. Carefully handcrafted for 7-8 years in the barrel, this premium and highly acclaimed Bourbon has notes of tropical fruit, vanilla and caramel and peanuts. 

This 100% rye starts with pure, traditionally-grown rye cultivated exclusively for us on the Omlin family farm in Quincy, Washington. The grain is mashed, distilled & barreled in our Woodinville distillery then trucked back over the Cascade Mountains to our private barrel houses, where Central Washington's extreme temperature cycles promote the extraction of natural flavors from the oak. Prior to being coopered, the barrel wood is seasoned in open air, rain, wind, sun and snow for eighteen months softening the wood's harsh tannins. They are then slowly toasted and heavily charred to further enrich the wood's desirable flavors. The result of this meticulous process yields a truly hand-crafted whiskey with aromas of cinnamon, clove, and fruit leather, and notes of caramel, wood spice, and honey on the palate with a long, memorable finish that will leave you anticipating your next sip.

Maker Notes

Our IYLIA Roble red wine comes from the Mediterranean coast, where the rocky soil and abundant sunshine enable Monastrell, Tempranillo, and Merlot grapes to grow and thrive.

We carefully select each grape during the harvesting process. And we age our wine for 24 months in American oak barrels, and the result is luxuriously bold and smooth. IYLIA Roble is a complex, perfectly full-bodied blend known for its intense earthy flavor.

Situated in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, Ransom Distillery sits on a 40-acre farm just outside Sheridan, Oregon. The distillery, which opened its doors in 1997, was named after the funds required to start the business. "I had always wanted to start my own business," says Tad Seestedt, owner and master distiller at Ransom Spirits, "and I thought that Ransom was an appropriate name in that its definition is buying your freedom or independence with money. The money I had to borrow from the bank to start the business was my Ransom." Ransom Spirits' Old Tom Gin is a revival of the gins fashioned during the mid-19th century — the golden age of American cocktails. The recipe, which Seestedt developed in collaboration with famed historian and mixologist David Wondrich ("a living iPod of drink lore and recipes," according to The New York Times), actually begins with the distillation of whiskey. After mashing and fermenting malted barley, Seestedt distills the wash through his custom-designed 150-gallon copper pot still. Next, he infuses a separate grain-based distillate with a secret recipe of herbs and botanicals, including juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander seed, angelica root and cardamom. The malted barley and grain-based distillates are then married together in the chamber of Seestedt's still and then distilled together. After distillation, Old Tom Gin is aged for 3-6 months before being brought to proof and bottled by hand. Old Tom Gin has initial notes of orange and lemon, which are wonderfully balanced by herbal undertones. The subtle, rounded flavors of the juniper, grains and hint of oak provided by the aging process add complexity and intrigue, and are followed by a malty, slightly sweet finish. Old Tom Gin earned the Gold Medal at the International Review of Spirits Competition and earned a score of 93 points from the Beverage Testing Institute. In addition, it earned a Gold Medal and the title "Best of Category" at the American Distilling Institute Competition in 2013.

Distillery Information

Located in a small Mexican town called Juanacatln, Tanteo makes its tequila at a cooperative distillery that employs mostly women and is focused on helping them get ahead and making a positive impact in the local community.Tanteo's agaves are grown by the members of Tanteo's distilling cooperative in the fertile soils of Jalisco's Cienega region.

Master Distiller Eddie Russell tapped the southern roots and enthusiasm of Matthew McConaughey to help create this small batch bourbon. After a two year development process together, McConaughey knew they finally created what would become Longbranch after tasting the "83rd" sample on a camping trip. The result 8-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon refined with Texas mesquite and American oak charcoals, resulting in smooth, smoky sweetness and deep complexity.

Their latest release, an 18-year-aged expression, showcases a distinctive mash bill and is hand-bottled at the farm. Each bottle features a bespoke Vermont glass stopper crafted on a historic pressing machine.
