MGP of Indiana (Midwest Grain Products of Indiana is a distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, producing spirits for private label sale.These are sold under about 50 different brand names by various bottling companies, with a recent addition of their own products, Till Vodka, George Remus Bourbon, and Rossville Union Straight Rye Whiskey.The facility's largest customer is the London-based multinational beverage giant Diageo.

Margarita

With 7 unique ingredients, the Freitag Margarita is a traditional, tart & tequila forward cocktail with a complex citrus overlay. At 30% ABV, this cocktail is booze forward bringing a smooth tequila on the front finishing with a tart & citrus finish.

Distilled in 1992, this Irish single malt was initially matured in hand-selected bourbon barrels for more than 10 years before being re-casked in 2004 to be finished in PX sherry casks. Bottled without chill filtration at 106 proof, it's a wonderfully mature 29-year-old whiskey.

Unblended and perfectly handcrafted straight whiskeys, made grain-to-glass using local North Texas grain. Each of our UNBENDT Straight Whiskeys has been aged a minimum of four years in standard 53 gallon bourbon barrels, resulting in rich, flavorful and unique authentic Texas whiskey. Every drop is made in small batches at BENDT Distilling Co. in Lewisville, Texas.

The grain bill includes 2-Row Malted Barley and north Texas grown Soft Winter Red Wheat. Aged 5+ years in a 53 gallon standard bourbon barrel at a 3.5 char level. Bottled-in-Bond at 100 proof / 50% ABV.

Nose: full and rich notes of sweet caramel

The deliberate blending of several different ages creates a higher proof; spicy, yet lighter rye taste; and long, luxurious finish (producer). (r)1 has spicy yet approachable flavors with a distinctive profile due and a luxurious and striking finish. Bottled at 92 proof, this modern spirit is enjoyed best in cocktails. It is has light, and spicy flavors with a long, luxurious finish.When enjoyed straight, the nose offers a gentle, peppery nod to its rye heritage. Cut with water, the scents of dried fruit and cinnamon push to the front, providing a rich palate experience. Packaged in a distinctive glass bottle this whiskey received a Double Gold medal at the 2009 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, a Gold medal at the 2009 International Review of Spirits, and a Bronze at the Beverage World's Global Packaging Awards in 2008. 

Made from Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino) grapes, its pale color is pleasing to the eye and draws one in. The rewarding taste profile is full and lush while being bone dry with a smooth finish. A blend of the best free run juices and press juices, fermented and aged in stainless steel with temperature control.

AROMA: A beautifully pale pink, which is pleasing to the eye and draws one in.

PALATE: Whispering Angel rosé has a Fresh red berry fruit characteristics with floral notes. Ripe and fleshy feel on the palate.

FINISH: This popular rosé wine has great concentration, a smooth and round finish and no astringent aftertaste.

Maighstir is born from a collaboration between Kentucky Owl Master Blender, John Rhea and Scotch Whisky Master Blender, Maureen Robinson. Maighstir (pronounced May-stir) is a traditional Gaelic word meaning "Master".

Kentucky Owl Maighstir Edition has been awarded 96 points by Tasting Panel magazine.

Tasting Notes

Nose
There is a sweet sense of small grains particularly the malted barley, with a hint of sweet caramel. The balance of the small grains (wheat and barley) with the hint of sweet caramel/vanilla, gives the immediate sensation and question in your mind; is this a great bourbon, or is this a great Scotch? Honestly, smelling it will make you feel like you are in a Scotch Whisky warehouse.

Palate
Initially there is sense of warm spicy sweetness from the rye that you might expect from a great bourbon, but then the combination and soft tones from the wheat and barley give a pleasant calming warmness to the tongue. As it melts in the mouth the essence of orange and grapefruit linger behind the soft velvety feel in the mouth.

Finish
In the throat, the soft caramel/vanilla reappears and trails away with a long soft pleasant finish.
