Appearance: Clear and harvest gold.

Nose: On the mellow nose, the overall impression is ‘lush', which is to say rich in promise, with the light sweetness of vanilla, a touch of molasses and some cereal, yet also complex and well-integrated, with fruity and nutty notes to explore. The top notes suggest a light vanilla sponge with butter icing; this aroma increases in the development; hints of ripe peach and white chocolate lie beneath. All of these notes are subtle and reserved.​

Body: Medium.

Palate: Smoothly creamy in texture and sweet to taste, with vanilla icing, before a spicier complexity brings balancing richness. There are more notes of vanilla midpalate, soaring above a deep fruitiness, and the sweetness lasts throughout. Very appealing to drink, both straight and with a dash of water, which softens and sweetens it.

Finish: Long, finishing richly sweet and lightly spicy, with a touch of white pepper. A dash of water enhances the sweetness.

Exploring the harmony between grace and power, our Malt Master pays homage to the Portuguese origins of these great seafarer’s ships, by finishing this supreme maritime whisky in a combination of Ruby, White and Tawny port casks. Tasting Notes

Appearance: Rich, bright gold. Moderate beading, thick legs.​

Nose: Mellow and drying, with a touch of spice once it​settles down. The top notes are of sticky malt loaf with​sultanas and dates as dried fruits lead the way, soon fading to become more maritime, with clean sea air, sea salt and sand dunes. Surging through this come mineral notes of chalk and a light, winey hint of macerated grape skins. At first, just a suggestion of peat smoke runs underneath, although the aroma becomes much smokier when water is added.

Body: Medium to full.

Palate: A creamy-smooth mouthfeel introduces a powerful taste with lightly sweet notes and hints of rich fruit. This soon becomes very salty, then intensely peppery and gunpowder smoky. The taste is almost as powerful with a good dash of water, which accentuates the saltiness.

Finish: Long, finishing spicy with the trademark catch of chilli pepper, which tends here toward mouth-cooling ​Sichuan pepper.

Our new Reposado Tequila! 100% Blue Agave Tequila, double distilled. High-quality agave is carefully selected and processed through cooking, spontaneous fermentation, and double distillation. It presents a well-defined straw color with golden reflections and has a complex aromatic intensity with notes of cinnamon, wood, pepper, clove, olive leaves, and a pleasant hint of vanilla, complemented by toasted chestnuts and a slight dark chocolate scent. On the palate, it showcases its texture and complexity with a prolonged finish dominated by toasted notes, inviting repeated tasting.

APPEARANCE
This Tequila is clean and bright with a very well-defined straw color and marked golden reflections. In the glass, it forms a prolonged crown before starting to slowly drip. When being swirled in the glass, a medium dense body is perceived, which is expected to be confirmed when tasted.

AROMA
A lot of aromatic intensity! The first great impression that this Tequila generates is that of complexity and intensity. The aromas are present before starting to analyze and unravel its origins, descriptions, and similarities. Alcohol is present, contributing to the structure required by a spirit with personality. Accompanying elegantly are aromas of cinnamon, wood, pepper, and clove. Also present is the smell of olive leaves and a pleasant, sweet note of vanilla. As the glass is left to rest, aromas of toasted chestnuts and a slight dark chocolate scent begins to emerge.

TASTE
In the mouth, we confirm the great texture of the Tequila that we observed in the visual analysis. It has a tasteful promise where all the aromas are also present in the mouth. Great complexity and intensity that fill the senses of taste and touch, while allowing aromas to escape to the nose. This Tequila Reposado expresses all its personality from the first sip. It has a prolonged finish where toasted notes predominate. The acidity of this Tequila invites you to take a second sip to continue appreciating it. The taste buds are activated, perceiving a sweetness that was formed during fermentation and enhanced during a careful distillation process. On The Nose
The first impression is intense cooked agave, caramel, chocolate, and dulce de leche obtained from its slow cooking. Flashes of tropical fruits such as roasted pineapple, melon, floral nuances like gardenias, subtle herbal notes, and spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, with a mineral touch. It is balanced, as its aromas obtained from its careful process are perceived, and the alcoholic note is low.

On The Eye: Bright, luminous, with silver hues, and full-bodied.

On The Palate: It confirms all its olfactory promise, leaving the mouth with intense fruity, spicy, floral tones, and cooked agave. It is sweet and silky. With great persistence.

Hailing from the tropical shores of Goa, this exotic Indian single malt, in rich shades of dark copper, has complex aromas of fig and apricot with a rare hint of banana. On the palate are tremendous flavours of sweet barley with creamy butterscotch, dry fruits and a profuse Christmas cake. The finish is long and exquisite, with delectable chocolate fudge, delicate orange peel and hints of exotic wine drenched nuts. Descended from the fiery ruby Port Wines originally shipped by George Sandeman in 1790, Sandeman Porto Fine Ruby is still made traditionally to be rich and robust yet with a special depth of flavour and the finesse, achieved by expertly blending wines from Sandeman´s large and varied stock.

Tasting Notes 
Brilliant red ruby in colour, with clean aromas of red fruits, plums and strawberries, Sandeman Porto Fine Ruby has full rich flavours and is very well balanced. Rich, round, balanced in the mouth, with overt flavours of fresh plums and red fruits.

Winemaking
Sandeman Porto Fine Ruby is produced by the traditional Porto Wine method. The hand-picked grapes undergo stalk-removal and crushing before fermentation, under controlled temperature, with skin maceration so as to extract the best components. The addition of wine alcohol at the ideal moment sets the balance between the wine's body and bouquet.

Maturation
After the harvest, the wines remain in the Douro until the following Spring. On this time of the year, the wines are transported to Vila Nova de Gaia to the Sandeman lodges. There, this fine wine will age in oak casks. Throughout the years the wines are carefully tasted and analysed by the oenology team who also makes all necessary corrections and prepares the final blend so as to keep Sandeman Porto Fine Ruby's style and character.
