Situated in a former microbrewery on a west London street in England, Sipsmith Independent Spirits Distillery is home to London's first new gin in nearly two centuries. The distillery was founded by a triumvirate Sam Galsworthy (who previously worked at a microbrewery), Fairfax Hall (a former Diageo representative) and Jared Brown (a master distiller who has crafted new spirits in Vietnam, Norway, Sweden and the United States) with the goal of producing a traditional yet authentic craft gin. Sipsmith London Dry Gin is crafted using ten carefully selected botanicals, including Macedonian juniper berries, Bulgarian coriander seed, French angelica root, Spanish liquorice root, Italian orris root, Spanish ground almond, Chinese cassia bark, Madagascan cinnamon, Sevillian orange peel and Spanish lemon peel. "The best botanicals make the best gin no way around it," says Brown, who has been distilling spirits for over a dozen years. Once the botanicals arrive at the distillery, they are distilled through a copper-pot still named Prudence (Prudence is able to produce approximately 280 bottles of gin each day). "Prudence is the first copper still installed in London in nearly 200 years. We designed her with Germany's oldest distillery producers, Christian Carl a small, family business that has been crafting stills since 1869. She is the only one like this in the world. "The still is designed with a bespoke pot, column still and carter head, which makes it incredibly versatile. Sloe berries are a hedgerow fruit in the plumb family. Rarely consistent berry seasons yield annual harvests that almost always vary, due to the unpredictable English climate. This variety in harvest is a trait very characteristic of wine, in that each vintage batch that is produced has its own unique character. Each autumn Sipsmith picks their sloe berries, which are then frozen and steeped in their London Dry Gin, for three to four months. We're proud to introduce a new collection of extra-aged, ultra-premium American Whiskeys to our portfolio. The Heaven Hill Heritage Collection exemplifies the true craftsmanship, patience and consistency that are hallmarks of our almost 90 years of whiskey-making traditions. With new editions released every spring, this collection features Straight American Whiskeys from one of our six traditional mashbills. Ages vary by release but all editions feature our oldest stocks of barrels.

The 2024 release of the Heaven Hill Heritage Collection is an 18-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Bottled without chill filtering, this 120 proof Whiskey showcases our Bourbon mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley.

Over many years, we have been quietly aging some exquisite Whiskeys for a new series within our Heaven Hill Distillery portfolio. Of our over 2 million barrels resting across seven rickhouse sites in central Kentucky, our master craftspeople have kept watchful eyes on this limited stock.

We’ve pulled from our special stock of barrels twice before. First in 2018 for the premium, extra-aged Heaven Hill 27-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon, and again in 2020 for a special 85th Anniversary bottling. The success of these two releases inspired us to create the Heaven Hill Heritage Collection. With this exclusive collection, we are now able to share our oldest Whiskeys with you each year.

The Calvados, Cordon Argent Pierre Huet, is served in prestigious restaurants as: L’Auberge du Pont de Collonges, restaurant of Paul Bocuse or Le Cafe Dessirier, one of the most seafood restaurant in Paris owned by Michel Rostang.

This Calvados is an aged and finely blended Calvados where the youngest spirit used in the blend is 20 years old. 

Inviting aromas of apple tart, salted butter caramel, and sugared apples greet the nose with a touch of mint and rancio. The palate is nutty with a touch of caramel and vanilla, culminating in a luxuriously complex finish with dark chocolate and clove.

Pierre Huet Calvados AOC Pays d’Auge Cordon Argent 20 years

This 20-year-old (minimum) blend follows the strict Calvados AOC guidelines that require single-distillation in a traditional column still called an “alambic á colonne.” The fermented cider that is used for making this Calvados (called calvados cidre) is fermented for 12 months in hundred-year-old oak barrels before being distilled. After continuous distillation, the resulting spirits are put in oak barrels once again and aged for a minimum of 20 years.  The cellar master blends this Cordon Argent 20 years by carefully selecting the brandies that display the most supple yet complex characteristics. Partida Roble Fino Reposado Cristalino Tequila

Born from a marriage of traditional tequila making and modern technology, Partida Familia Tequila is made from blue agave nectar sourced near El Cerro, a dormant volcano, in Santiago de Tequila, Mexico. From afar, the rolling hills of agave fields could be mistaken for vineyards in the south of France or Sonoma Valley. Up close, however, you can see the rich red soil, which creates the perfect terrain for maturing the agave plant. With years of experience, jimadors determine exactly when each agave is ready for harvest. Jose Valdez, Tequila Partida's master distiller, holds a Tequila Expert degree from Cultura y Capacitacin del Tequila A.C. (Tequila Culture and Training Association), and is also a certified Tequila Technician from the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (Tequila Regulatory Council). He carefully monitors the entire production process, including the quality of the blue agave. The pias are perfectly ripened with mature, robust sugars, the blue agave is harvested by hand and slowly baked in state-of-the-art autoclaves to preserve freshness and flavor. After the agave has been baked and shredded, Valdez lets the agave juices ferment for nearly two days before twice distilling the tequila. The Roble Fino ("fine oak") series was conceived upon Valdez's visit to Scotland, where he envisioned a partnership between tequila and Scotch single malts. He crafted 3 unique expressions: the Reposado, Reposado Cristalino, and Aejo, which build on the super-solid foundation of their award-winning regular Reposado and Aejo tequilas. These are then finished in Edrington's sherry-seasoned single malt oak casks. The Roble Fino Reposado Cristalino takes the 6-month-old liquid that is aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then adds another two months of finishing in sherry-seasoned single malt oak casks on top of that. It is then filtered naturally to remove the color, preserving the complexity of the double-aged spirit.
