The Brollach Single Malt Irish Whisky

The Brollach Whisky

750 ml | 46.44% ABV
Whiskey | Irish

Available for Pre-Order! Arriving June 20

Building on a tradition of handcrafted record-breaking, award-winning whiskeys, The Brollach is a whiskey of a lifetime. Born from the bond between a father and his son, it is the culmination of a search for an exceptionally rare whiskey of exquisite flavour, that would honour family, Ireland and Irish whiskey.

AN IRISH HEART

Tumbling down from the Cooley Mountains comes fresh spring water, filtered through limestone, basalt and granite. The finest Irish barley, golden with promise, interplays with the water in an intricate balance of sugar and alcohol, presenting an outstanding quality whiskey.

AN IRISH SOUL

Intricate layers of flavour interweave with one another, just as family and history weave through each of us. Apricot and butterscotch on the nose bring to mind a velvety tarte tatin, while dark cherry adds a sour tang, melting into an intimate, intense dark chocolate. A mellow finish of caramelised banana lingers long after the first sip.

A RARE WHISKEY EXPERIENCE

The heavy grain of the natural oak draws the eye firmly to the stainless steel clasps. As if peeling away the layers of history, another box appears. The precious liquid is held securely in the determined, solid silhouette of the glass bottle that sits on an oak plinth. Finn glasses emerge from dark suede, a steel drawer conceals the anodised silver and glass pipette; perfectly engineered to deliver an optimum droplet of water, releasing the full intricacies of The Brollach’s intense flavours.

INSIDE THE BROLLACH

Inside The Brollach’s raw oak box lies the carefully conceived accompaniments to raise the experience to its peak. Two Finn glasses allow you to raise a glass with a companion, after delivering the perfect drop of water from the anodised silver and glass pipette. The drawer opens to reveal four obsidian whiskey stones, a vial of Irish Spring water and one of The Brollach, allowing you to taste the rare Irish craft whiskey while saving the main bottle as an investment.

AWARDS

Launched on Father’s Day 2021, The Brollach is a prize whiskey that won its first award just a month later. Two prestigious Master medals from The Spirits Business Irish Whiskey Masters and Luxury Masters have set The Brollach on the same award-winning path as The Devil’s Keep.

Herout Micro Cuvée No 3 Cider

French Cider and Spirits

750 ml | 5.5% ABV
Cider

The Micro-Cuvée n°3 is a unique cider distinguished by its internal complexity and notes of fresh pears. 100% organic.
This cuvée ferments for 6 months in oak barrels that previously aged chardonnay and pinot noir wines.  The barrel-fermented ciders are blended and then bottled. After the natural bubbles form, the bottles are aged 20 months on lattes before being disgorged.
This lovely organic cider is a pale golden robe and totally clear.  A fine nose with lightly wooded notes and aromas of pears. On the palate, this cider has very fine bubbles with a balanced freshness, reinforced by tannins imparted from the wine barrels during the aging process and a bit of acidity on the finish. A dry cider with an impressive structure.  Fit for the finest of restaurants. 5.5% alc/vol.
Maison Hérout follows the cider-making tradition of their ancestors – their ciders are all organic, and fermented naturally with indigenous yeast.  The bubbles are the result of a natural effervescence and occur in the bottle.  Maison Hérout ciders are not pasteurized or carbonated.  Gluten – Free and vegan.
The Orchards
Maison Herout has 25 acres of apple orchards. The average age of the apple trees varies according to the parcels (10 to 65 years old). More than 25 varieties of apples are grown including Rouge de Cantepie, one of the original apples grown in the orchards.  The soil is maintained by being completely covered with grass.
The Terroir
The orchards are situated on the Armorican Massive which is composed of schist and sandstone sediment as well as granite from the primary eras.  With a silty coating, the soils are slightly sandy and pebbly sandy and drain very quickly.
The Production
After grating the apples to obtain the “marc de pommes”, the grated apples are then crushed into a pulp, then pressed.  The resulting pressed juice rests for 3 to 5 days to become naturally clear. This clear juice is then fermented in large cuvées for 4 to 7 months.  After bottling, the cider then continues fermenting for at least another 2 months so that the natural bubbles can form – leading to a rich, thick robe of foamy bubbles that are the hallmark of Maison Hérout. Their ciders are clarified through a traditional method where bottles are capped and tipped on their side so that the yeasts can fall to the tip of the bottle where they are removed through disgorgement.  The resulting cider is completely clear, refined, and stable.

Amrut Peated Single Malt Whisky

Amrut

750 ml | 46% ABV
Whiskey | Single Malt

According to Indian mythology, when Gods and Rakshasas, or demons, churned the oceans inside Mount Meru (a mythical mountain thought to be the center of physical, metaphysical and spiritual worlds), a golden pot containing the nectar of life sprang out of the mountain. The nectar was called "Amrut," which literally translates into "immortality." Amrut Distillery traces its history back to 1948 when, just one year after India declared its independence from Great Britain, Radhakrishna Jagdale began manufacturing rum and brandy, which he supplied to army canteens throughout India. After his death in 1976, the mantle was passed to his son, Neelakanta Rao Jagdale. When the younger Jagdale became Chairman of Amrut Distillery, he began experimenting with more innovative whiskies. Amrut Peated Single Malt Whisky is made from Indian barley grown at the foothills of the Himalayan mountains in a region known as Punjab (Punjab means "the land of five rivers), and peated malt sourced from Scotland. The Himalayan mountain water, along with the cold winters and fiery summers, result in a unique type of barley that is rich in nutrients and flavor. After local Indian farmers harvest the barley, it is carefully mashed and distilled in small batches to preserve the natural aroma of the Indian terroir. The whisky is then aged at an altitude of 3,000 feet above sea level in oak barrels that are laid to rest for a minimum of 4 years. During maturation, the incredibly intense Indian sun causes the whisky and oak to mingle often. In addition, the heat also leads to much greater rates of evaporation approximately 12% of maturing whisky evaporates each year in India (this is referred to as the angel's share), compared to just 2% in Scotland. As a result of the intense temperatures and humidity, whisky ages nearly three times faster in India as compared to Scotland. Pick up your bottle today!

Suave Lunar Rested Silver Tequila

Suave Tequila

750 ml | 40% ABV
Tequila | Silver

The family behind the founder is truly passionate about artisanal tequila; the kind of tequila our ancestors once made and consumed themselves, sip by sip. They knew there was more to tequila than the party drink image that most brands portray today. Therefore, they wanted to pass this knowledge on to their children and motivate them to produce and enjoy only the highest quality tequila possible. A top quality tequila, so true to its roots and pure in every sense of the word. A tequila that could boldly compete with the strongest brands and stand its ground for its authenticity in flavour and body. Hoping to be the smoothest tequila on the market, Suave Premium Tequila was destined to be born.

The young entrepreneur ventured with this project in mind, and met Jaime Villalobos Sauza. Jaime came from one of the oldest tequila families in the industry; Sauza Tequila was founded by its predecessors. However, the brand’s family name was later sold to investors who marketed the product worldwide, thus sacrificing its quality. As a result, Jaime sought to honour his ancestors by developing the highest quality and most natural premium tequila possible. Jaime, in fact, spent several years gaining more experience in the industry as an official tequila catador. Later he became the president of ONSOM: the Organization of Sommeliers of Mexico. This background prompted Jaime to join forces with the young entrepreneur and to produce the most distinctive, organic, kosher-certified, and additive-free sipping tequila the industry has ever known.

Suave Blanco aged in American oak barrels for 28 days (a complete lunar cycle). Suave Lunar gladly closes the gap between a Blanco and a Reposado with a balanced barrel and agave character.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A harmonious tequila with sweet vanilla beans, buttermilk, salted caramel and a fresh aroma of green apples.

Palate: Dominant notes of vanilla with well-rounded hints of barrel toast, light to medium fruity body with mild acidity.

Finish: Soft aftertaste with hints of barrel toast and smoked agave.

Pasote Anejo Tequila

Pasote Tequila

750 ml | 40% ABV
Tequila | Anejo

Don Felipe Camarena's family has been distilling tequila in Jalisco since the early 19th century. After his ancestor's original distillery was destroyed and abandoned during the Mexican Revolution, Don Felipe switched gears, selling his prized blue agave to other distilleries. In 1937, he was finally able to open his own distillery, La Altea, which he passed down to his grandson, Felipe J. Camarena. The younger Felilpe was trained as a civil engineer, and many years later in 2007, Felipe followed in his father's footsteps by opening a distillery of his own: El Pandillo. At El Pandillo, Felipe has constructed a series of original machines to optimize energy use and perfect the art of tequila-making. After harvest, Felipe roasts his agaves in a stone oven equipped with steam jets the jets ensure that the agaves are cooked as evenly as possible, cutting down on cooking time and increasing yields. Next, the roasted agaves are ground and pressed in two different machines (once again ofFelipe's design) which extract sugars from the plants fibers, making everything more easily fermented into alcohol. Once distilled, the tequila is proofed with rainwater that is collected using a rooftop funnel which Felipe (unsurprisingly) installed himself. Handcrafted by Felip J. Camarena at El Pandillo, Pasote Tequilas pay tribute to the first agave distillers: the Aztecs. The Aztecs were some of the most ferocious fighters in history, and they often celebrated their victories by drinking the sacred agave plant. Pasote Aejo Tequila is aged for one year in American ex-bourbon barrels, which mellows the flavor of roasted agave for a harmonious aroma of vanilla and sweet coconut. The palate is decadently rich and velvety smooth, tasting predominantly of roasted oranges and cinnamon due to the long aging period. The finish is long, warm, toasty and sweet, but the agave always shines through in this bottle.
