Breckenridge Madeira Finish Whiskey

Breckenridge

750 ml | 46% ABV
Whiskey | Bourbon

The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World’s Highest Distillery”. Founded in 2008, the Breckenridge Distillery is most widely known for its blended bourbon whiskey, a high-rye mash American-style whiskey. Breckenridge Bourbon is one of the most highly awarded crafted bourbons; 4x winner of Best American Blended (2016, 17, 18, and 2019) from the World Whiskies Awards and Bourbon of the Year in 2011 at the Int’l Wine & Spirits Competition, and 2019 Colorado Distillery of the Year at the New York Int’l Spirits Competition. In 2018, Breckenridge Distillery won the coveted Icons of Whisky for Brand Innovator of the Year.

Since coming online in 2008 and releasing its first vodka and bourbon three years later, Breckenridge Distillery has quickly become an award-winning producer of fine spirits, being designated one of the top three bourbons in the U.S. How it all came to be, however, stems from a mix of just the right ingredients, a hint of luck and a deep love for quality whiskey.

“Philosophically for me, quality is the only thing that matters,” says Nolt. “If you want to have quality in whiskey, there’s so much heritage that you just can’t ignore.”

Our award-winning Breckenridge Bourbon marinated in Madeira casks; rich in flavor, without an overpowering sweetness. Maraschino cherry with notes of plum tease the palette, flavors of smoked cherrywood and leather are quickly to follow. Finishing with a hint of Baker’s chocolate, this will quickly become a go-to delight.

Nankai Gold Premium Blended Shochu Finished in Oak Casks Japanese Whiskey

Nankai Japanese Whiskey

750 ml | 43% ABV
Whiskey | Japanese

Introducing Nankai Gold, a premium blended Shochu meticulously crafted on Amami Island, Japan. This exceptional spirit is the result of a harmonious blend of matured and cask-aged kokuto, also known as "black sugar," Shochu from our renowned distillery. With an elegant smoothness, Nankai Gold delights the senses with its rich layers of fruity, floral, and malty aromas, complemented by subtle hints of raisins, chocolates, and honey. Enjoy the rarity and exquisiteness of this drink either neat or on the rocks.

Nankai Gold has earned the highest accolades, winning the prestigious Master Medal in the shochu category. This 43% ABV blend combines artisan black sugar Shochus, distilled from a blend of black sugar (80%) and rice (20%), carefully produced only on Amami Island. The production process involves handcrafting each Shochu from just four natural ingredients: sugarcane, rice, koji yeast, and water. A portion of the blend undergoes vacuum distillation to achieve a smooth and delicious finish, thanks to the unique qualities of the vacuum stills.

Our skilled artisans then age the select Shochus for up to 5 years in American white oak and French Limousin casks before blending them into Nankai Gold. The result is an extraordinary and complex drinking experience that demands attention and appreciation. Embracing tradition, Nankai Gold is a handcrafted, cask-aged Shochu, a beloved Japanese distilled spirit. It sets itself apart from whiskey through the use of "koji" in the fermentation process and single-distillation, which preserves the sumptuous flavors and aromas of the source grain.

For lovers of Japanese whiskeys, Nankai Gold offers a fascinating fusion of the beauty of Shochu and whiskey-making, all elegantly combined within this stunning bottle.

Labiette Castille Bas Armagnac VSOP

French Cider and Spirits

700 ml | 40% ABV
Brandy

RECENT AWARDS: USA Spirits Ratings 2022 - Silver 86 points

The name Labiette Castille comes from two specific localities belonging to the village of Sorbets (Gers, France) that are called: “Labiette” on the western part of the vineyards, and “Castille”, to the east. Our logotype represents a Knight of the King, paying tribute to the most famous musketeer D’Artagnan.

Our house was founded in the late 19th century by a native family of Sorbets and is owned by the Lesgourgues family since the mid-1970’s.

Grapes
The house uses the main grape varieties coming from the vineyard located in the Bas Armagnac. Predominantly Baco 22A and Ugni Blanc, and secondary Colombard and Folle Blanche.

Wines
The white wines obtained offers good acidity and low alcohol content that are suitable for traditional distillation.

Distilling
The wines are distilled in a continuous “Armagnacais” column still: this is the perfect way for distilling our wines in Armagnac, hence capturing most of the flavors contained in the wines. Each grape varietal is distilled separately, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the autumn season until Christmas time.

The freshly “brandy” comes out from the column still at around 60% alcohol.

Aging
The “brandies” are then stored in French oak barrels (430L each).
The Labiette Castille Armagnacs age in 100% local Gascony oak. These casks will fit best our Armagnacs, giving them time to grow and to capture the genuine flavors and tannins from the oak. Annually, the cask will lose about 3% of evaporation. This qualitative phenomenon is known as “Angel’s share” (la Part des Anges in French).

Blending
Our cellar master, with the members of the Lesgourgues family, oversees the blending (“assemblage”) choosing the different eaux-de-vie that will be making the future Armagnac.
This blending mission is critical in the house’s capacity to create the most exquisite yet singular Armagnacs.

Bottling
All of our Armagnacs are progressively reduced in alcohol, and most of them are bottled at 40% alc after a non-chilled filtration.

Labiette Castille Bas Armagnac VSOP

This Armagnac is produced in the most coveted region of Bas Armagnac. The aromas display a superb balance between vanilla, dried fruit, and oak. Savor the luscious flavors of oakiness, spice and candied prune.  The Labiette Castille Bas Armagnac VSOP is a cellar master blend of 15 premium brandies; each brandy in the blend is aged from 6 to 10 years in Gascony oak casks

Serve as an aperitif before a meal - neat on ice or slightly chilled. Also, use in premium craft cocktails.

Produced on the famed estate of Chateau de Laubade, the largest and most-awarded family Armagnac estate in France, this Armagnac is fully traceable from vineyard to bottle.  All four varieties of grapes used in its production - Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Baco and Colombard - are grown, vinified, aged, and blended on the 260-acre estate under the watchful eyes of the Lesgourgues family who have owned the estate since 1974.
