Using our proprietary BLACK NOISE finishing process, each batch of whiskey is blasted with its very own Metallica playlist, curated by the band themselves. The low-frequency sound waves force the whiskey to penetrate deeper into the barrel, extracting more caramel, honey and vanilla flavors from the wood. The result is a magnificently balanced whiskey, robust in flavor and ideal for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in a classic whiskey cocktail.

TASTING NOTES

Burnt caramel, oak & honey on the nose, with honey, cinnamon, allspice, dark fruit, clove and mint filling the palate. The finish is long and smooth, slightly creamy with hints of butterscotch taffy, maple and honey.

Smogóry Forest is crafted with rare Diamond Dankowskie rye from a single estate located in Smogóry, a tiny village in rural Western Poland surrounded by the region’s vast, pristine forests. This exceptionally bold, robust and savory vodka captures the essence of its unspoiled region, recalling the dense hardwood forests dominating the terroir.

The Single Estate Rye Series celebrates Belvedere’s craftsmanship and expertise in vodka distilling, as well as our ability to produce vodkas of complex character. When tasted side by side, the two vodkas deliver demonstrably different taste profiles, illustrating the variation of terroir on the same Dankowskie Diamond rye grown in each unique location.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense aromas of sea air, toasted rye bread and caramel.

Palate: Rich and mellow with initial impressions of salted caramel, cereal and a touch of honey. Persistent with delicate notes of toasted bread, white pepper and fudge. Mouthfeel is rich, well rounded and luscious.

Finish: Long and salty/sweet. Notes of baked bread, sea salt and caramel.

Crafted with rare Diamond Dankowskie Rye from a single estate located on the shores of Lake Bartężek in Poland’s Masurian Lake District, this exceptionally fresh, smooth and delicate vodka reflects the unique terroir of its estate. Snowy, cold winters stress the rye and develop the vodka’s delicate, refined character – more reminiscent of the region’s calm lakes than its harsh climate.

The One and Only New Orleans Original. Sazerac Rye Whiskey symbolizes the tradition and history of New Orleans. Rye Whiskey that dates back to the 1800's, around the time when saloons, veiled as Coffee Houses, began lining the streets of New Orleans. It was at the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal Street where local patrons were served toddies made with Rye Whiskey and Peychaud's Bitters. The libation became known as the Sazerac and America's first branded cocktail was born. This is the whiskey that started it all.

Aroma: The fragrance is of clove, sweet vanilla, anise and pepper. 

Flavor: The taste has subtle notes of candies, spice and crisp citrus.

Pale golden amber color with a silvery cast. Pineapple creme brulee, dried tropical fruit, nougat, dried flowers, and spice aromas follow through on a soft, satiny entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body with anise cookie, herb, and grilled pepper accents.
