History

Born in the Highlands of Jalisco, and raised in the Valleys of Tequila. Don Fulano is a product of the Fonseca family whose story begins in the Highlands of Jalisco where their great grandfathers began cultivating agave 140 years ago. Today - respected agave farmers – they also run La Tequilena, one of the highest-rated and most awarded tequila distilleries.

Don Fulano Fuerte is the original overproof; one of a kind, it is profoundly aromatic, full of spice and flavor and yet mellow with floral glimmers of Jasmin and orange blossom. It brings a direct connection with the agave fields, with its terroir, with its patient fermentation and its masterful distillation in copper alembics. Full bodied and generous in its complexity, its finish is full and prolonged. One for the connoisseur and epicurean, to sip neat or unbeatable in a fantastic cocktail.

Notes: Profoundly aromatic with floral glimmers of jasmin and orange blossom.

Palate: This overproof tequila fully shows its complex terroir, high minerality and wet cement.

Aroma: Yellow apple and cooked, mature agave round out this expression and make it soft and smooth despite its higher proof.

Nose: Grassines from volcanic well water shows in this pure and ethereal tequila.
