History
Born in the Highlands of Jalisco, and raised in the Valleys of Tequila. Don Fulano is a product of the Fonseca family whose story begins in the Highlands of Jalisco where their great grandfathers began cultivating agave 140 years ago. Today - respected agave farmers – they also run La Tequileña, one of the highest-rated and most awarded tequila distilleries.
Don Fulano Imperial is the oldest, exceptionally rich, and complex with a great combination of elegance and power. Blended from dark European oak and oloroso sherry casks it’s abundant in fruit notes and spices like clove and cardamom. Deep notes of old leather, tobacco, and a lavish aroma of black cherries frame its singular style. It is velvety and permanent in the mouth. An exotic delight to sip on its own.
TASTING NOTES
Notes: Finished in Oloroso casks, this stunning extra añejo is exceptionally rich with fruit notes of dried black cherries and apricots.
Palate: Sweet brown spices, cloves, nutmeg, and pepper are abundant in this expression.
Aroma: We can sense some sweetness from caramel, toffee, and chocolate-covered fruit that is balanced by the freshness of menthol.
Nose: Complex flavors of coffee beans, dark chocolate, old leather, and tobacco as well as cola nut and roasted nuts create a unique sensory experience.
Finish: Velvety, rich and incredibly complex, the Imperial is truly outstanding and is best enjoyed neat.
