Edinburgh Gin Cannonball Navy Strength
Tastes like breathless electric air over wild ocean swell. Edinburgh Gin Cannonball is a distillation inspired by the Capital's naval heritage, cannons, and the one o'clock gun. This navy strength gin is bottled at 57.2% ABV. Our unique recipe includes double juniper, Szechuan pepper, and lemon zest, bringing a strong distinctive flavour. Use as the ultimate base for a perfect martini or serve with tonic, a twist of lemon, and plenty of ice.
TASTING NOTES
Bottled at 57.2% abv, 100% proof. This higher alcohol content allows our distillers to add more botanicals. With almost double the juniper and citrus than anything else in the Edinburgh Gin range, this allows for a smoother mouth feel which counteracts the heat from the spirit. This is complimented by Szechuan peppercorns which give a warming tingle to the finish. Strong in both alcohol and flavour.
NOSE: Powerfully spirited and spicy on the nose.
PALATE: Bold juniper with a kick of pepper and piquant spice.
FINISH: Lingering spice with fresh citrus notes.
