Glenfarclas 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Glenfarclas Distillery, founded in 1836 on Recherlich Farm, Speyside, Scotland. John Grant purchased it in 1865, and his descendants, George and John, saved it from bankruptcy. Today, George S. Grant, the sixth generation, oversees this independent distillery. Glenfarclas 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky uses spring water from Ben Rinnes mountain. They ferment with 100% cultured distiller's yeast, distill using direct-heated stills, and preserve only 15% of the distillate for maturation. This Speyside sherried single malt boasts a smooth, silky texture with rich notes of berries, tropical fruits, fruitcake, hazelnuts, toffee, dried fruits, milk chocolate, and espresso. The finish is long-lasting, with hints of cherries, chocolate, and nutty smokiness. It's a multiple award-winning whisky, including Silver Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2014 and Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2009.
