In reimagining the emblematic Hennessy X.O decanter, Jean-Michel Othoniel drew inspiration from the cognac's extra-long maturation process: it takes years for its precious eaux-de-vie to mature, as the oak barrels in which they are kept gradually facet their aromas and flavors. A testament to the way in which raw materials can be shaped by ancestral savoir-faire and time.
THE LIMITED EDITION
For its latest Limited Edition of Hennessy X.O, the Maison collaborated with the great master of light and glass, French contemporary artist Jean-Michel Othoniel. Inspired by the notion of raw material faceted by time-honored savoir-faire and Time, the artist here revisits the emblematic Hennessy X.O decanter like a jewel in the rough.
