Menage a Trois Gold 2019 Chardonnay
Winemaker Notes
Although it’s a tad risqué, Ménage à Trois Chardonnay has an impeccable, California coastal pedigree. To enhance its delicious fruity flavors, we fermented the wine with a special French yeast (but of course!), induced partial malolactic fermentation, and coupled the creamy result with French and American oak.
Tasting Notes
Each appellation partner in our Ménage à Trois Chardonnay contributes a distinctive quality to the finished blend: crisp, lemon and lime aromas and vibrant, tropical fruit flavors from the Central Coast; and beautiful structure from the North Coast. The resulting Chardonnay is full-bodied on the palate, with strong varietal fruit characters.
