Skinos Mastiha Spirit

Skinos Mastiha spirit is a special spirit produced using natural ingredients on the Greek island Chios. The Greek spirit is notorious for its bountiful health benefits, treasured by the ancient Romans, who used to use Mastiha to give their wines fragrance. Skinos Mastiha is made from crystals, which naturally occur in Mastic tree bark. Small cuts are made in the bark, then mixed with alcohol and infused for three months. Distilled in copper pot stills this Mediterranean spirit can be enjoyed as a digestif, or on ice with a simple lemon wedge.
