BOLD IN COLOR AND FLAVOR

Reflexion is a complex single malt that has been aged in a combination of smaller hogshead casks and first-fill sherry seasoned casks made from both Spanish and American oak. This unique maturation process results in a whisky with a deep color and a flavor profile that is rich in floral and vanilla notes, with hints of fresh apples and apricots. The small size of the hogshead casks allows for a greater interaction between the wood and the whisky, resulting in a well-balanced and intricate character.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Blood Orange

NOSE: Fresh zest of orange and citrus fruits. A slight waxy note fades to fresh green apples. Robust notes of chocolate, thick fudge, boiled sweets, aniseed and caramel toffees with subtle white chocolate truffles. Fresh bananas and sweet oak arrives last.

PALATE: Initial light citrus zest with new oak gives way to the succulent sweetness of lemon and orange. Raisin, sultana and apple, with a hint of cinnamon and ginger, are subtle.

FINISH: Boiled sweets add balance to a glimpse of toasted oak to give a medium and soft finish.
