IMPERIAL STOUT CASK FINISH

Freshly disgorged Whistler 7 year old Single Malt casks were filled with our award winning Boyne Brewhouse Imperial Stout, imparting our stouts wonderful rich flavours into the wood. We then refill these seasoned casks with our blend of Irish Malt and Single Grain whiskeys which bestow deeper notes of roasted coffee and cacao nibs.

NOSE: Dark berries mixed with a hint of bitter coffee and creamy cocoa.

PALATE: The creaminess from the cocoa follows through, pairing beautifully with the subtle coffee tones. This is rounded out by hints of caramel.

FINISH: Long, lingering with a creamy mouthfeel.

ON-THE-NOSE: Zingy citrus with a hint of cloves.

The Original Ten encapsulates the signature smooth and multi-layered character of Benriach. Three cask matured for at least ten years in bourbon barrels,sherry casks and virgin oak, to create layers of luscious orchard fruit, sumptuous honeyed malt and toasted oak, all interwoven with a subtle trace of smoke.The perfect introduction to our signature style and richly layered Speyside Single Malt.

The story of Nevada H & C Distilling Co. begins in 2004 when the screenwriter Jonathan Hensleigh met co-founder Aaron Chepenik in a bar in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles. They quickly realized they had the same vision of opening a bar, opening The Griffin together. After a couple years of sampling their inventory, they began discussing what they liked and didn't like about the bourbons and vodkas they were selling. One night, the idea of creating their own spirits popped up, which eventually led to them opening the first distillery in the city of Las Vegas. The City Council had to create a license especially for them since none existed beforehand. It took them 6 years of gathering equipment and setting it up, with several hurdles along the way. The bright side was that by the time they opened their doors they had several high-rye bourbons ready, which meant they could begin operating immediately. They have two brands under their belt now, both with several medals from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition: Silver Dollar American Vodka and Smoke Wagon. 

The Anecdotes of Ages Collection is an extraordinary art and whisky collaboration with globally renowned British pop artist, Sir Peter Blake.

The collaboration is The Macallan’s third with the iconic artist, and is part of a relationship that has spanned almost four decades. The partnership celebrates our rich legacy and Sir Peter Blake’s remarkable contribution to the art world.

This special single malt whisky has been created to commemorate Sir Peter Blake’s visit to The Macallan Estate on the legendary River Spey. An Estate, A Community, and A Distillery tells the story of some of the colourful characters from The Macallan’s past and present and features a label digitally designed by Sir Peter himself.

The Macallan Lead Whisky Maker, Sarah Burgess, was inspired by Sir Peter Blake’s character to create a whisky classic in style with surprising notes of treacle and black pepper.

THE EXPERIENCE

A liquid interpretation of freshly baked Danish rye bread. A Nordic rye whisky with dark and roasted aromas and a long fruity aftertaste.

This is a different kind of rye whisky. The combination of malted rye and barley and pot still distillation makes this a smooth, fruity and full-bodied whisky.

Hand-crafted in the village of Las Milpas overlooking rolling pastures and nestled among cornfields. Agave: Espadín. Naturally fermented and twice distilled in wood-fired copper stills. Nose of slate and tropical fruit, palate of citrus, lavender and pea shoots, with a long dry finish. ABV 46.

Santo Domingo Albarradas

Hand-crafted on a steep hillside in the high mountain village of Santo Domingo Albarradas bordering a lush cloud forest. Agave: Espadín. Naturally fermented and twice distilled in wood-fired copper stills. Light nose with lots of dry citrus, a palate of tropical fruit with a bit of roasted pear and salinity and a clean dry finish.

Maker Notes

Today we bring you Special Reserve Straight Bourbon. A select reserve of our special stock that is non chill filtered and aged 6 years in American Oak Barrels. Incredibly balanced with a smooth long finish. You get a generous amount of orchard fruits on the nose and clove and spice on the palate.

Flavor Profile

Appearance: Bright crimson.

Nose: The generous aromatics are loaded with caramelized orchard and citrus fruits

Palate: Harmonious and seamless, it finishes with a smooth long finish of clove and wood spices.

Dictador 2 Masters Laballe 1975 is a prestigious Colombian rum, the result of a collaboration between Dictador, a renowned Colombian rum producer, and Laballe, a distinguished French wine and spirits producer. This exceptional rum has spent nearly 40 years aging in oak barrels, resulting in a complex flavor profile with notes of dried fruits, honey, vanilla, caramel, and dark chocolate. It's a limited-edition masterpiece that showcases the expertise of both companies and is highly sought after by connoisseurs and collectors worldwide. Dictador 2 Masters Laballe 1975 is a true testament to the art of aging and craftsmanship in the world of rum.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Lovely soft vanilla notes of bourbon and white flowers kick off the aroma, with white chocolate and raspberry to follow. Sultanas, and hints of an autumnal forest floor. Complex and well balanced.

Palate: Maple with pecans and smoked liquorice, aniseed and star anise. Some malty notes with blood orange, red apples and a touch of triple sec.

Finish: White pepper, sweet tea and some notes of fresh ginger. Candied oranges dipped in dark chocolate.

Hailing from central California’s Paso Robles region, our Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon is richly textured and well balanced due to the region’s cool morning fog and intense midday sun.

Flavor Notes
Aromas of red fruits are backed by powerful scents of black peppercorn. On the palate, the wine features flavors of raspberry, coffee, and vanilla. Bold tannins lead to a long, smooth finish.

BUILDING ON MY PREDILECTION (and my fame) for accenting bourbon cocktails with orange peels set aflame, I have crafted a bourbon like no other: smooth, 4 years old, bottled in Kentucky and kissed with the sweet, smoky, caramelized grace of burnt orange rind.

So, making my CELEBRATED COCKTAIL is A SNAP.

JUST ADD a touch of sugar and Angostura Bitters.

Made from 100 % blue agave through a slow and double distillation process and aged for 13 months in a fine selection of 200 L American Oak Barrels with slightly burned inside.

This tequila exemplifies to perfection the skills of the master tequilero.

APPEARANCE: Caramel, ocher and hints of pale gold brightness.

NOSE: Barrels, caramel and spices.

TASTE: Predominant vanilla, barrel, touches of green pepper, round bodied, with long, spicy richness finish.

Named in honour of the famous revolutionary leader of Mexico, Doroteo Arango. Pours a lovely straw yellow colour into the glass, with an elegant nose of caramelized agave and delicate floral notes. On the palate it is silky smooth with notes of herbs and cooked agave, these flavours persist on to a clean finish.
