While Medoyeff (meh-Doy-eff) Vodka can be challenging for some to pronounce, it’s always easy to drink. Our Head Distiller Lee Medoff, a 3rd generation Oregonian, is the grandson of Alexander Medoyeff who eventually settled in Oregon after the Russian Revolution. As a salute to his family heritage the first spirit he made was naturally vodka. Medoyeff Vodka is a naturally flavorful vodka with distinctive mouth-feel and a clean sharp finish.

The Taste

Agave nectar is a natural sugar replacement made from the juice of the Blue Weber Agave plant. It's a plant based food that is a healthy alternative to processed sugar and artificial sweeteners.

Why in the world would anyone want to put something called "Bitters" into a drink? In fact, Bitters are critical in the best drinks. The first publication of a bartenders' guide which included cocktail recipes was in 1862 - How to Mix Drinks; The Bon Vivant's Companion, by "Professor" Jerry Thomas. In addition to recipes for Punches, Sours, Slings, and the like, were 10 recipes for drinks called "Cocktails".

The effect of Bitters in a drink is to balance, round out and complex the flavor. Your mouth has taste receptors for sour, sweet, and salty; AND it has a receptor for bitter. The more receptors triggered as a drink tickles on the way down, the more interesting the drink. You know you have used Bitters correctly when the person enjoying the drink says, "Wow, there is something going on in the background of that drink". Consider that a slam-dunk.

The 2022 vintage started early, with Spring bringing welcome rain that filled the soil profile, giving vines the water and nutrients needed to grow. An overall mild summer with warm days and cool nights was ideal for grape maturity. Overall, a lighter crop than average
in quantity, but still excellent in quality.

Introducing Remus Repeal Reserve Series VII, the latest edition of the award-winning Remus Repeal Reserve collection. Featuring a medley of five bourbons aged since 2007 – 2014, Series VII is crafted to honor the repeal of Prohibition on December 5, 1933. Remus Repeal Reserve Series VII features an aroma of caramelized pecans, candied cherry and maple syrup, leading to flavors of rich caramel, maple and candied raisin, candied cherry, barrel char and rich cinnamon. The finish brings intense cinnamon and peppermint spice, with lingering notes of vanilla, caramel and oak.

Our Silver Medal gluten-free Vodka is distilled from 100% non-GMO corn in Northern California and finished at our bottling facility in Ukiah, CA. It is here that we transfer the raw spirit to our tanks and proof it down slowly by blending in crystal clear purified water to our preferred 86 proof (abv 43%). We then screen and double charcoal filter before bottling the spirit into our signature Mulholland Vodka bottles.

This blend of New World and Old World flavors gives Mulholland Gin its unique and approachable character.
