HIRO RED Junmai Sake is made once a year with Gohyakumanguko Sake rice, grown only by HIRO's own Kura (brewery) and water sourced from the pure melting snow of the Bandai-Asahi mountains of the Niigata Prefecture. HIRO RED Junmai Sake is made from Gohyakumanguko rice that is milled down to 60% of its original size, which removes the impurities in the outer layers of the rice. The heavily milled rice together with the melted snow water helps give HIRO RED its pristine clean crisp taste.

Nose: The nosing finds mature smells of molasses, honey, milk chocolate and nougat.

Palate: The palate entry is a touch smoky and very sweet; the honey and molasses tastes come to the fore at the midpalate.

Ron del Barrilito 2 Star rum is first blended and then aged for at least 3 years. The rum has been produced in Bayamn Puerto Rico since 1804 by the Fernndez family, making it the oldest rum manufacturer in Puerto Rico. In 1942 a single barrel of Ron del Barrilito rum was set aside called the 'Freedom Barrel.' The barrel will be opened in Bayamn town square for all to share when Puerto Rico gains its independence.

Production Notes

Aged for more than 2 years in the world’s finest French White Oak Cabernet barrels, it’s one of the smoothest Barrel Strength Añejo Tequilas in the market, with an 86.2 Proof

Note: Our 2nd release of Barrel Strength is 88 Proof (44% Alc./Vol.) and still as smooth on the palate as our regular Añejo.

Tasting Notes

Subtle caramelized vanilla and dark chocolate notes, swirling with toasted oak aroma. Soft on the palate with no throaty burn.

Twice Distilled, Cobalto is the carefully filtered. Completely chemical and addictive free from the field to the glass, the result is an exceptionally smooth tequila that maintains the natural essence of the agave and the land in which it was grown. (18 months in white oak).

Embajador is a Jalisco Highlands distillery located in Atotonilco. They use locally grown agave matured at 8-10 years before harvest. A combination of traditional (adobe oven) and modern (shredders, column still) methods are used to produce the distillate. The Supreme (aejo) is aged 18 months in a combination of American (ex-bourbon) and French (ex-Cognac) oak.

Fruit bearing and spice like aromas complete this well crafted Anejo style. Supreme is a majestic golden tone, full bodied and velvety smooth with a well balanced taste of agave, vanilla and spices at the finish. Supreme is rested for 18 months in American and French Oak barrels.

Aged just over a year in American oak barrels, our Añejo has a significant oak presence in balance with the agave fruit, deeper notes of vanilla, nuts, and caramel. Unlike most other añejos which are dominated by oak, our Añejo has a complex balance of oak and agave fruit. 

Crafted with 100% Blue Weber Agave handpicked at optimal maturity in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.
