Aged just over a year in American oak barrels, our Añejo has a significant oak presence in balance with the agave fruit, deeper notes of vanilla, nuts, and caramel. Unlike most other añejos which are dominated by oak, our Añejo has a complex balance of oak and agave fruit.

The sipping experience is silky and rich with flavors of vanilla and butterscotch. Finishes soft and round with a little sweetness and lingering oak.

PaQuí Reposado is lightly aged for four months in American oak. What makes it unique and delightful is that the wood flavors do not dominate like so many of the competing reposados. Rather, the oak and agave flavors are in beautiful balance making it clear that our Reposado reflects the pure agave flavors of its PaQuí Silvera base. This Reposado offers no resistance. Fresh, savory, and light on its feet.

PaQuí Reposado Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: Florals, soft spice, white tea and fruit. The subtle oak imparts aromas of soft vanilla and custard.

Palate: A balance of fruit, florals and spicy flavors. Earthy tones with a touch of clove, mint and bay leaf. Clean and crisp with a delicate finesse. Oak influence is light and tempers the agave without masking it.

Finish: The finish is long and amazingly soft.

PaQuí Silvera Tequila Tasting Notes

Nose: Big fruity aroma of sweet agave. Notes of citrus, jasmine, and fresh green grass. Complex and inviting.

Palate: A rush of sweet agave with floral, grassy aromas, and sweet agave fruit upfront followed by vanilla, white pepper, and other herbal undertones including lemon and honeysuckle. Complex, smooth, and round with some minerality. Lively and subtly spicy upfront but finishes with gently lingering flavors and a soft, smooth finish.

Finish: Finishes silky and soft with a slight spice finish.

Lejana Y Sola is an ensemble of Espadin and the rare, wild Cuishe Agave that grows in the mountainside hills of Oaxaca. Striking a beautiful balance of light smoke and sweet agave fruit, this mezcal is at once earthy, spicy, and subtly musky with a lingering finish.

Lejana Y Sola is distilled in a small family-owned palenque using the ancient artisanal method with no electricity. The Espadin and Cuishe agaves are roasted over oak in a stone-lined fire pit, crushed by a horse-drawn tahona, fermented in wooden tanks, and double distilled in a copper alambique – a truly medieval technology that results in a mysteriously beautiful liquid that is a pleasure to sip and savor.
