Charles Woodson built his legend on the gridiron throughout his storied collegiate and professional career and now takes that same dedication to his new craft spirit line.  With the launch of his first spirit, Woodson Bourbon Whiskey, Charles brings his passion for winemaking and sustainability to his craft spirit line by finishing all of his spirits in the same French Oak wine barrels used in the wine making process to make his Charles Woodson Wines Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Woodson Bourbon Whiskey blended with our own vermouth consisting of 12 unique spices and botanicals.The front end gives a nice bourbon flavor with the middle notes hitting the vanilla followed by a balanced bitter flavor and a sweet caramel finish.

This elegant spirit was distilled from a mash of corn, rye, and malt and placed in new, charred American oak barrels to age in our single-story warehouses. As a result of the curious conditions experienced by these barrels during the aging process, the proof dropped below the minimum standard to be called a whisky. The result is a complex and sophisticated spirit with a light and easy drinking character.

Hand-crafted on a tropical hillside surrounded by fruit trees and rose bushes in the village of Santa Maria Albarradas. Agave: Wild Jabali. Naturally fermented and twice distilled in wood-fired copper stills. Nose of fresh figs, baked apples, and parmesan rind. Palate of bright acidity with notes of sweet violets and tarragon. Creamy finish with hints of sandalwood. ABV 47.

The Open Special Edition of 2021 has been created in partnership with Colin Montgomerie, Scottish Professional Golfer and Loch Lomond Whiskies ambassador.

For this special edition, a combination of spirits from both our unique straight neck and more traditional pot stills have been selected, delivering an approachable single malt of exception quality. As with all Loch Lomond Single Malts, the underlying fruit character shines with a gentle hint of smoke on the finish.

The spirit has been matured in three types of American oak casks, managed by our onsite cooperage. Michael Henry, our Master Blender then marries the casks together before a partial finish in Virgin American oak.

Non-chill filtered just as nature intended, and bottled at 46% ABV delivers a rich mouthfeel and a deep and complex flavour.

Caramel and toffee, poached pear, red apple with fresh vanilla.

Toasted oak, a gentle smokiness then warming oak spice of cinnamon and clove.

The characteristic sweet taste of bourbon intertwined with notes of freshly charred virgin oak pair beautifully with the earthy spices of the single Irish pot still whiskey and the delicate butterscotch sweetness from the Irish grain whiskey to deliver a unique tasting experience.

Grand Love Reposado Tequila 750ml Ultra-Aged 100% Blue Agave Reposado Tequila grown in Jalisco's Highland region. Aged for 2 years in double-roasted white oak barrels. Fruity, herbal and minty bouquet with dashes of black pepper complimented with hints of caramel, chocolate and vanilla.

Visual Phase: Shining golden hues and powerful body.

Aroma Phase: The first impression is of intense cooked agave vapors with tones of peppermint and spearmint, hints of black pepper and fruit.

To create tequila Grand Love Red Edition agaves cultivated in the region of Amatitan Jalisco were used. The selection of the barrels of American white oak reflex the high quality of its aging with a double browning.

Visual phase: of golden metallic glitters and powerful body.

Aroma: at the first impression the intense vapors of boiled agave with nuances of pepper, chocolate fruit and caramel, wood, balanced, harmonious and elegant.

Palate phase: this great tequila has the feature that when you drink it you can appreciate from the very first moment its delicious flavor and fruity nuances. hazel, caramel and chocolate. when you swallow you can feel the velvet, soft and generous of its maturity.

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. is widely considered one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry, fighting for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, nearly three decades after he purchased what is now called Buffalo Trace Distillery. During his time, Taylor implemented several innovative methods still used today, including climate controlled aging warehouses. Many of the barrels selected for the E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel are aged in Warehouse C, which was built by Taylor in 1881 and proven to be an excellent aging warehouse. Each barrel is hand-picked and Bottled in Bond at 100 proof to honor its namesake.

TASTING NOTES

The aroma carries lightly toasted oak, with dried figs and butterscotch. One sip brings flavors of sweetness balanced with tobacco and dark spices. The finish is just long enough to prepare the palate for another sip. The bottle itself is a likeness to Colonel Taylor's original design used over a century ago.

The Story 

Se Busca, which means ‘wanted’ in Spanish, is a tribute to the brave women of the Mexican Revolution who stood shoulder to shoulder with men in battle for a new constitution. As unapologetic as our mezcal, these women were the outlaws of their time, earning the titles of Adelitas and Soldaderas (women in the military). Se Busca mezcal is our tribute to their battle cry - a cry proving that in every revolution there is love

The Technique

word “mezcal” comes from Nahuatl mexcalli meaning “oven-cooked agave.” This spirit represents the history, culture and diversity of Mexico. Se Busca is a super-premium mezcal artesanal made from 100% Agave Augustifolia Espadin, produced in San Juan del Rio, a small town in Oaxaca, Mexico. Se Busca is skillfully distilled and aged at the family-owned Lopes Sosa palenque - an artisanal production that has been making this famed spirit for more than 50 years. Balancing rich cooked agave and mesquite, maestros mezcaleros Rodolfo and Mary Lopez Sosa handcraft this mezcal to embody the rebel spirit of the women of the Mexican Revolution, earning it the title “Se Busca”

VIRGIL KAINE GINGER INFUSED BOURBON

Our original spirit has its own original spirit. This small batch creation puts a fresh twist on classic Southern bourbon. Starting with our full-bodied Lowcountry libation, we add a touch of heirloom ginger harvested just thirty miles from where it’s bottled. A single sip reveals a hint of vanilla with an ultra-smooth, well-balanced taste and sweet finish only found south of the Mason-Dixon Line.
