Caisteal Chamuis is a blended malt scotch whisky made by moss burn distillers, known as Knock Castle or Castle Camus. It was first raised in the 13th century on the site of an Iron Age fort known as Dun Thorabhaig. This malt scotch whiskey is initially aged in American oak hogsheads, then recast in bourbon barrels for a mellow oak spice finish. Due to this, it adds bold and smoky flavor to the whiskey.
