A premium American whiskey produced by Castle & Key Distillery, a historic distillery located in Frankfort, Kentucky. This small batch bourbon is crafted using traditional techniques and is made from a unique blend of corn, rye, and malted barley.

The whiskey is aged in new charred oak barrels for at least two years, which gives it a deep amber color and a rich, complex flavor profile. On the nose, Castle & Key Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey exhibits notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, with a hint of spice.

On the palate, the whiskey is smooth and balanced, with flavors of dark fruit, butterscotch, and a touch of smoke. The finish is long and warming, with a pleasant sweetness that lingers on the tongue.

Castle & Key Distillery is known for its commitment to traditional distilling methods and its dedication to sustainability. The distillery is housed in a beautifully restored castle, which dates back to the late 1800s, and is powered by renewable energy sources.

Gone are the days of one-note gin offerings. Our award-winning Roots of Ruin Gin is crafted with eight complex botanicals. The finished product? Each of the ingredients has the chance to shine–especially the three that are most unique to us: chamomile, ginger, and rosemary giving our gin a bright and unique flavor profile.

Starting from a base of our rye whiskey newmake, our Roots of Ruin Gin is vapor distilled drawing bright and complex flavors from a series of eight botanicals. 

Mashbill: 17% Yellow Corn / 63% Rye / 20% Malted Barley

Botanicals: Juniper, Chamomile, Ginger, Rosemary, Licorice Root, Lemon Verbena, Coriander, and Angelica Root

Aroma: Bright and floral, subtle baking spice, and soft pine 

Taste: ‍Balanced notes of citrus and lemon verbena, followed by spicy ginger and sweet chamomile flower. Delicately complex with a distinct earthy character including angelica, soft juniper, and rosemary. 

Finish: Smooth, sweet, and creamy with hints of spice.
