Hotel California Tequila’s origins date back to 1947, when Chinese immigrant Antonio Wong, later known as Don Antonio Tabasco, built the 16-room Hotel California in Todos Santos, Mexico. The hotel closed in the 1960s and was later renovated into a boutique hotel by Johan Stewart and his family. Immersed in Todos Santos’ culture, Stewart founded the Tequila brand in the 2000s. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave in Jalisco’s highlands, Hotel California Tequila reflects the spirit of the hotel and its locale.
