WHAT IS AHUMADO TEQUILA?
We pit-roast the agave in our artisanal underground oven for 48 hours using heated stones and special firewood. The agave is first cut, then covered with dried agave fiber and sealed with moistened earth. We balance the intensely smoked agave with traditionally cooked agave, ferment and double-distill the spirit and let it rest in oak barrels for over two months. The result is a unique,
masterly balanced tequila, both smoky, delicate and complex.

THE LIQUID

Tuaca is an enticing blend of Italian Brandy, Mediterranean Citrus and Vanilla Spice. It has a storied history with a recipe that remains much the same as when it helped fuel the Italian Renaissance. Tuaca is a fine spirit with subtle notes of vanilla and citrus, hints of butterscotch, cola, dried fig and other flavors that reveal themselves uniquely to each individual drinker. The result is a complex and versatile flavor that can be enjoyed chilled or used to bring new life to your favorite cocktail.

THE HISTORY

Legend has it that the liquid was first blended to commemorate Lorenzo de Medici. Remembered as The Magnificent, Lorenzo ruled over Florence, Italy in the 15th century and was a generous benefactor to artists who ultimately defined this remarkable time. The resulting recipe created in his honor has since survived more than 500 years.

The fine brandy used to make Tuaca comes from a town east of Roma named Anagni, known for producing some of the finest grapes in Italy.

In the 1930s, brothers-in-law Gaetano Tuoni and Giorgio Canepa recreated the recipe and named it Tuaca, a combination of their last names. And During World War II, American servicemen stationed in Livorno, Italy discovered the unique flavor of Tuaca and searched for it, albeit in vain, upon their return to America. In the late 1950s, an astute importer from San Francisco brought Tuaca to the United States to begin its reign as the perfect spirit to turn an ordinary night into one you will remember forever.

The seed for the nectar of the gods was sown in the barren desert. Many millennia have passed since barley has bloomed in the inhospitable climate of Rajasthan. For our uncompromising quest to create the finest spirits, we use the traditional Indian six row barley, which is cultivated using old indigenous practices that rely on organic and sustainable methods. The yield may be smaller but it lends a fruity and floral distinctive taste to the spirits.

Two Isle of Raasay spirits – peated and unpeated – are matured separately in first fill Rye whiskey, fresh Chinkapin oak and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. These six recipe casks marry together to create the perfect dram with real elegance, complexity and depth of character. Every drop of spirit is distilled, matured and bottled on the Isle of Raasay using water from our well: Tobar na Ba Bàine (the Well of the Pale Cow).

Bobby’s Jenever is an adventurous blend of Indonesian spices, juniper, and traditional malt spirit. The jenever’s base of malt spirit gives just that bready, nutty base for the spices to show their citric, and herbaceous qualities. The jenever is made of four percent malt spirit, five botanicals – lemongrass, ginger, cardamom, cubeb pepper, and juniper - and no additives, sugars, or extractions. Just clear, pure taste.

AROMA CHARACTERISTICS
Opens somewhat closed on the nose and gently reveals subtle maltiness and botanical notes of juniper, candied ginger, lemongrass and roasted almonds.

TASTE
Starts with soft oatmeal notes paired with zesty, fresh citrus. Lively herbal notes are smoothened on a background of sweet, soft wheat bread and toasted hazelnuts with a hint of vanilla. Flavour continues with juniper, caramelized hazelnuts and cardamom, balanced with Indonesian spice and rewarding herbaceous notes. The flavour is carried by a smooth, warming texture. Fiery ginger root and spicy cubeb pepper create a fresh spicy kick and tingling sensation in the finish.

Single Malt Scotch Whisky From the Speyside Region

Tamnavulin, from Tomnavoulin, Ballindalloch, Banffshire, is one of the many distilleries built in the boom period of the 1960s to keep up with the public interest. Sweet and zesty with lots of fruity notes – such as pineapple, grapefruit and banana – through most of the dram but the finish is more mellow and provides a calming, smooth end to the experience.

Nose: Stone fruits, syrup, pineapple, peach, grapefruit

Flavour: Lemon zest, banana fritter, caramel sauce, creamy with a suitable tanginess

Finish: Fermented fruits, flat cola, dime bars, bourbon biscuit

Rozelieures is one of the only distilleries in the world to master all the stages of production on its own property. From growing the barley to bottling, our whiskeys are made here in Lorraine.

This Rare Collection whisky, produced in limited quantities, is distilled from a finely peated malt. It has been aged in oak casks containing wines from the South West of France. These casks give the whisky roundness, fruitiness, mellowness and notes of ripe fruit on a sherry background.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: Very flattering on orchard fruits and honey. In a second phase, it is the candied orange and the walnut that stand out.

PALATE: Still a lot of greediness on candied fruits with a liquorish touch. The malty and toasted notes bring a great richness.

FINISH: Long on red fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant) with a touch of smoke and toasted notes.

Maker Notes

Citrus peel on the nose followed by layers of soft vanilla. This crystal-clear spirit has the smooth, medium-light body and clean flavor profile of a classic wheat vodka. The bite of crisp pepper evolves into a long finish of caramel, lemon, and orange zest. We filter our vodka once using minimal charcoal to retain the character of locally sourced grain, while our fractioning still ensures a superior clarity and sharply focused structure. This complex, opulent vodka is delicious simply on the rocks or with a twist.

With a mash bill of 45% wheat and 51% corn, this is a sweet, soft, and very easy-drinking Bourbon.

Aged a minimum of 3 years in virgin oak casks in order to retain the soft wheat character and to avoid over-dominance from the wood. 

Nose: Butterscotch, caramelized banana, and some oak.

Palate: A delicious toffee richness and creamy butterscotch. Peanut brittle, nugget, and peach flavored hard candy.

This is our high-rye Bourbon matured a minimum of 4 years in virgin oak barrels then finished with Aspen wood. The resul is a soft, smooth, fruity and easy drinking whiskey.

Nose: “Tutti Frutti”… bursting with tropical fruits. Apricote, passion fruit, banana and then oranges with creamy vanilla and sweet American oak.

Like Sloe gin, our Damson is handmade in the traditional way; in small batches, using hand-picked British damsons and a moderate amount of sugar. We slowly mature an abundance of damsons in our London Dry. The fruits combine with the smoothness of the gin to give an intense fruity dryness.

Fantastically Fruity, our Damson gin is definitely something special. Masses of luscious, hand-picked British damsons are left to steep for six months or more in our strikingly smooth London Dry. We add sugar, but not too much, just enough to balance the natural tartness of the fruit.

Slowly matured, the resulting rich, ruby-red gin is velvety and smooth with an intense depth of flavour and fruity dryness; unlike many fruit gins, it delivers quite a kick – bottled with an alcohol content of 40%.

TASTING NOTES: Aromas of damsons and marzipan waft out of the glass. Deliciously fruity plum and date flavours are followed up with a flash of citrus and spice, then subtle tannins on the finish to refresh and balance out the sweetness.

Our Story

WÓDKA! An honest vodka, made by people who love the spirit, so we’ll give it to you straight.

Vodka has a hotly contested history. Some may tell you it originated in Russia, but in truth it definitely, probably comes from Poland. That’s why we make WÓDKA Vodka in Poland, with Polish ingredients, in a classically Polish, no-bullshit style.

We get the rye, then we mill it, cook it, and ferment it. We distill it five times, mellow it through a charcoal filter twice. We let it sit and rest. That’s it. The result is a clean, no-frills, high-quality vodka that tastes good in cocktails and also tastes good out of cocktails.

Our history isn’t what makes WÓDKA great, but we’re proud of it. We’re one of the last estate-grown Polish rye vodkas left, and our distillery is near Kalisz, the oldest town in Poland, famous even in Roman times for its rye. Everything we use is Polish, even the charcoal (a unique Polish birch), and especially the rye: locally grown Dankowskie, a golden winter variant that vodka nerds agree is very good stuff.

Blending & Aging

Our 2019 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is comprised of 95.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 1.9% Merlot and 0.4% Petit Verdot. After blending in early 2020, our 2019 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was transferred to American oak barrels from our cooperage, The Oak, where it aged for 24 months. Blending before barrel aging—a signature of our winemaking style—allows blends to be based on the inherent qualities of their vineyard components before oak influence. Vintage to vintage, the resulting Cabernets emerge integrated and ready to drink upon release.

Red cherry, blackberry and vanilla

Vintage Description

The winter rains started in late December, and by the time the vines awoke from their slumber, the soil profile was recharged, the lakes and reservoirs had filled up again, and the vintage was off to a healthy start. Lower-than-average spring temperatures resulted in a slightly delayed budbreak, and we received a welcome and unexpected rain event just before bloom. It did not interfere with fruit set and prepared the vines for the warm summer conditions. In 2019, the challenge was in the vineyard—to stay on top of prolific plant growth and to thin some of the crop later in the season for optimal vine balance. Summer and fall temperatures averaged a balmy 85°F with only three brief heat events during fruit ripening that brought in the usual fog pattern that makes the Alexander Valley growing region so special. Harvest commenced on September 11 and proceeded at a busy-but-steady pace for five weeks to finish on October 18. Crops were generous, and the quality we saw in the fermentations augured another outstanding vintage with layers of complexity, great depth and elegant tannins.
