After the act was passed, distilleries could label their whiskey as Bottled In Bond if it met specific criteria.

American Whiskey has of course become far more regulated since 1897. Present day Bottled In Bond whiskeys use the term to signify a true grain to bottle product. Every Oregon Spirit Bottled In Bond barrel is carefully selected by our distillers, and is bottled and stamped with its unique barrel code to showcase what makes that particular barrel a part of our single barrel program.

Oregon Spirit Distillers Bourbon Whiskey is a four grain bourbon made with corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. This whiskey is made and aged for four years on site in Bend, Oregon. After four years of maturation in new American white oak barrels, the barrels are married and a touch of water is added to bring our whiskey to 94 proof.
