we believe nothing is as precious as time. its passing can be measured, but its value cannot. so, we'll keep moving at our own pace, to create extraordinary whisky, creating impressions that stand the test of time.

Hidden beginnings 
Taking advantage of a secret waterfall, generations of the Connell family made illicit spirits in the wooded hills behind where our distillery stands today. our legal status may have changed but we still use water from the same hills today, connecting us to our origins like a river to its source.

Glen of the geese 
Every winter, the hill behind our distillery becomes a beacon for migrating flocks of geese, which is why our home on the highland border is known as the glen of the geese or, in gaelic, glen guin. but our guests have inspired more than just our whisky's name. in a world that seems to spin faster every day, we're proud to be the slowest whisky distiller in scotland.

And while our methods might appear meandering, they are anything but. like those geese, we're guided by an unwavering clarity of purpose and the knowledge that sometimes the right way is a long way.

Our unique process
In the stillness of our quiet glen, we know that patience is rewarded. nothing is rushed and every stage of our whisky-making process is given as long as it needs. uniquely-shaped stills nurse the simmering wash during the longest distillation of any Scottish whisky, prolonged contact with the copper coaxing sweet and fruity notes from the gently rolling vapors. that's why our barley is only ever dried by air, allowing the true Glengoyne spirit to shine through.

Our precious casks
From here the precious spirit is transferred to casks made to order from European and American oak, themselves prepared for six years before they're ready to carry our whisky to maturity. the natural color of the whisky is a testament to decades within the wood alone. nothing else is added, this is how we craft a whisky unlike any other. this is the Glengoyne way

Glengoyne Cask Strength

Bottled at the strength it emerges from the cask, this delicious amber gold dram is un-chillfiltered, unfussed, and untamed; the closest you’ll get to open the cask yourself. 

On the nose, you’re met with baked lemon, rich sticky toffee pudding, malt biscuits, plum, hazelnut, and an unmistakable hit of zesty apple. To taste, expect a weighty mouthful of rich vanilla and fresh fruits that develop into poached pears with cinnamon spice and a drizzle of honey. The finish is long and rewarding, with Medjool dates, apricot, toffee, and honey.

TASTING NOTES

APPEARANCE: Amber Gold

NOSE: On the nose, you’re met with baked lemon, rich sticky toffee pudding, malt biscuits, plum, hazelnut, and an unmistakable hit of zesty apple.

PALATE: To taste, expect a weighty mouthful of rich vanilla and fresh fruits that develop into poached pears with cinnamon spice and a drizzle of honey.

FINISH: The finish is long and rewarding, with Medjool dates, apricot, toffee, and honey.

Maker Notes

Spicy vanilla fruit, ripe apples and a rich, luxurious mouthfeel. This is the result of 18 long years and a generous proportion of first-fill sherry casks. And of the patience we take over the slowest distillation in Scotland.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Medium gold with a rich glow.

NOSE: Awash with red apple, ripe melon and fresh banana. Heavenly and well rounded, it drifts into hot porridge topped with brown sugar.

PALATE: Full bodied, round and rich. At first macerated fruits, marzipan and walnuts; then warm spices, dry cocoa and lingering Seville marmalade.

Tamdhu was born in 1897, on the banks of the River Spey. Now, as then, every drop is crafted with the same care - starting with water drawn from our own spring. In 1898 our founders created another Tamdhu tradition, securing a first precious shipment of sherry casks from Spain. Today, Tamdhu matures exclusively in the finest Oloroso sherry casks, nothing less. This scarce wood bears two great gifts: colour and taste. Tamdhu 15 Year Old's deep copper hue is developed by the cask, nothing more - and each drop owes its rich, complex taste to its home of a decade and a half. Finally, Tamdhu 15 Year Old is bottled unchillfiltered. A magnificent Speyside Single Malt for the sherry wood connoisseur.

Tyrconnell 16 Year Oloroso & Moscatel Cask Finish is a single malt release which spends its first 16 years maturing in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Then the whiskey ages for a time in wine casks from the Andalusian region which initially were seasoned with oloroso sherry before a second seasoning of moscatel wine. The Tyrconnell is produced at the Cooley Distillery, nestled in the foothills of the Cooley Mountains in County Louth. The Cooley Distillery, part of the Kilbeggan Distilling Company, has been the driving force behind the Irish Single Malt evolution. Most Irish malt whiskey has traditionally found its way into blended whiskeys, thus it is rare to find Irish malt whiskey bottled in its single malt form.

It began as an obsession to create the world’s best vodka from the ground up – or in this case, just below it. Each surprisingly complex sip of our premium potato vodka was born of locally harvested Rio Grande potatoes, mashed fresh and distilled only once to bring you a rare vodka with a character all its own. Cranberry juice is entirely optional.

Weve poured ourselves into bringing you this straight rye whiskey of uncommon complexity and damn that's smooth taste. Each bottle of our 100% Colorado Rye is crafted in custom CARL stills using locally grown rye from trusted Colorado farms, then gracefully aged a minimum of two years in new American oak. Indeed, this is how you turn rye into gold.

Our latest addition to the Woody Creek family of spirits has been years in the making. Our much-anticipated Colorado Bourbon, aged a minimum of four years in deeply charred new American oak, has just enough spice to get your attention, with hints of cinnamon, caramel, and honey in the background. The Nine Banded Armadillo is the state mammal of Texas and a symbol of the independent and creative spirit of our home, Austin. A unique blend of 87% corn, 11%rye and 2% malted barley brought to life with limestone-filtered water from the Texas hill country.

The Bas-Armagnac region, home to the finest vineyards for Armagnac production, is characterized by its rolling hills interspersed with dense woods. The mild and humid climate, coupled with a sun-kissed autumn, plays a pivotal role in shaping the nuanced flavors and aromas found in Armagnac de Montal. The grape varieties utilized in its creation include Folle Blanche, Ugni-Blanc, Bacco, and Colombard.

In order to capture the maximum essence of the grapes, the wine is distilled immediately after harvesting. Armagnac de Montal adheres to traditional methods, utilizing either a copper still or a large organ, which enables the vapors to rise, carrying with them the essence of the spirit. The aging process takes place in white oak barrels, undergoing an unusually extended period of maturation, resulting in the distinctive golden hue and enticing aromas of vanilla, lilac, and notably, plum.
