Glen Scotia Double Cask whisky is a superb introduction to the Glen Scotia range for whisky explorers. Matured in first fill bourbon barrels before being finished for 12 months in PX sherry casks, this expression provides an intriguing harmony or rich and spicy fruit flavours, as well as distinctly Campbeltown notes.

Hatozaki was named after the oldest stone lighthouse in Japan, a symbol of safety and guidance listed as a Historical Monument. With a design strongly inspired by the delicate naturalistic art of the Edo era (1603-1868), Hatozaki also incorporates a deep respect for the whisky of Scotland, the country that pioneered the spirit.

Hatozaki Finest Blended Japanese Whisky is a wise choice for both highballs and straight pours, this product, with a minimum malt whisky content of 40%, has a delicate roundness with a rich backbone of malt whisky, offering cereal notes and a gentle sweetness. Aged for up to 12 years and created through a two-stage blending process, it is never colored or unchill-filtered.

Properties
Unpeated, delicate and floral. It offers a balanced feel in the mouth, with an aromatic palate and floral notes. The style is elegant and light, carrying significant depth from the malted barley.

Rated 90 in Whisky Advocate - Taconic Distillery's Double Barrel Maple Bourbon is the product of a collaboration with Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse. Freshly dumped Bourbon barrels are sent to Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse who fills them with their New York Grade A Organic Maple Syrup. After a few months of aging, the barrel aged maple syrup is bottled and sold. Those same barrels are then immediately refilled with bourbon. After a few months of soaking up the sweetness, the annual release of their Double Barrel Maple Bourbon is produced. 

The initial sweetness lingers with the earthiness of the barrels, resulting in a slightly sweet butteriness which is unmistakable.

Aged a minimum of 5 years at 90 proof.

Since the early 1900’s we've been known for exploring the ways in which different casks can influence our whisky and this single malt is an outstanding example of our experimental style. Matured first in American oak casks in the traditional Glen Moray way, it is then finished in Chardonnay white wine casks. These casks layer tropical fruit and warm spice on our whisky's classic vanilla notes, culminating in this sweetly approachable dram.

NOSE: Spicy apple and pear, key lime pie and cinnamon sugar.

TASTE: Caramelised tropical fruits, hints of freshly ground pepper and sweet vanilla.

FINISH: Tropical fruit and nutty vanilla flavours combine to deliver a finish which is both intense and warm.

Made from 100% soft spring wheat, this exceptionally smooth vodka is distilled six times, then charcoal-filtered twice using our unique custom filtration process.  This vodka drinks with a soft mouth feel that defies description.

Maker Notes

We sought out to make a Spiced Rum like no other. The only criteria we had was that we had to love it, and it had to be unique.

Developing our Spiced Rum recipe was five months in the making. We took every herb and spice that we could find and monitored them separately in our Rum to see what flavors we wanted in our Spiced Rum.  After adjusting for proportions, we came up with our final recipe.

The bouquet is distinctly fragrant and will surprise you. The taste is a unique blend of about a dozen natural ingredients with the richness of vanilla and cinnamon.  It is smooth and perfect neat or on the rocks. The complexity makes it a great substitute for whiskey in any whiskey cocktail.
