Over many years and several trips to Oaxaca, partners from both sides of the border went in search of an expertly crafted, “go-to”, everyday mezcal…and we couldn’t find it…so we made our own. We sought out maestro mezcaleros who share our passion to be the best at what they do and decided the name should resonate with quality and passion – and THE PRODUCER was born.

Spicy and luxurious

The mature, deep, spicy one: a deeper Sherry influence adds more spiciness and a liquorice tang. Greater age adds body and develops the distinctive fruitiness to a rich raisin character.

Colour: Auburn gold

Nose: Rich and complex notes of toffee and butterscotch combine with ripe peach and bitter orange

Palate: Perfect structure. Initial notes of soft apricot and cream are offset by developing flavours of blackcurrant jam and sweet oak with a touch of honey

Finish: Very long and balanced, progresses from crème brûlée to a gentle oak flourish

Tequila Mandala was founded on November 16, 2016 by Jose Joel Garcia Barreto, Arturo Lomeli Ibarra and Humberto Ibarra. The founders had the specific idea of bringing a unique, premium sipping tequila to the U.S. spirit market. Tequila Mandala’s hallmark, the Extra Añejo, comes in a hand-crafted, hand-painted ceramic bottle. Lost Horse Whiskey is named after the now famous gold mine in Joshua Tree National Park. A story of serendipitous good fortune inspires the whiskey blend sourced from some of the highest quality American casks. We carefully choose a proprietary blend of mash bills and ages to create this supremely approachable all-American blended whiskey. Our Lost Horse Whiskey received a silver medal in the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.​

We contribute a portion of sales of our Lost Horse Whiskey to the Joshua Tree National Park Association to support the needs of the National Park in an ongoing partisanship with the organization. 1% of all Lost Horse Whiskey sales made at our distillery and at our retail partners are donated to quarterly.

HOW WE MAKE OUR MASTER’S KEEP UNFORGOTTEN

The idea of marrying the straight bourbon and rye whiskies of Wild Turkey Distilling Co. was born in 2010 when a crew member accidentally mixed a batch of young rye with a barrel of mature bourbon. Over a decade later, Master Distiller Eddie Russell has leveraged his years of distillation experience to craft Master’s Keep Unforgotten, a high proof, extra-aged variation of the harmonious blend of straight bourbon and rye whiskies, this time finished in rye casks for a secondary aging period in the pre-prohibition Rickhouse B – the favorite rickhouse of Eddie’s father, Master Distiller Jimmy Russell.

Our story BEHIND THE BARREL

Duke Timeless Spirits is inspired by legendary American icon, craftsman and actor John Wayne, or “The Duke”.
His devotion to his craft, friends, family and country brought him respect and admiration across the globe – earning him a congressional gold medal, an airport named after him, a feature on two postage stamps and an induction into the California Hall of Fame in 2007.

A Vermouth di Torino based on red wine produced according to the authentic recipe of Clemente Chazalettes of 1876, where alongside the artemisia, you can notice the characteristics of the Piedmontese herbs savory and marjoram and the more exotic ones of ambrette and coriander.
The Queen who baptized him is Margherita of Savoy who in 1907 granted the royal patent and the use of the Royal House coat of arms to the Chazalettes house.

Aviation is distilled using a proprietary maceration recipe that produces a pure medley of botanical flavor.

STEP 1: INFUSION
It all starts with our precise blend of botanicals – cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper, and two kinds of orange peel. The botanicals are suspended in a neutral grain spirit for 18 hours in macerating tanks.

STEP 2: DISTILLATION
The macerate is then pumped into a still along with pure water. Steam jackets heat the macerate, the vapors go into the condenser, which cools the vapors to form the gin distillate.

STEP 3: THE CUT
In a meticulously monitored process, the first fluid leaving the still, the "heads," is removed. Collecting the "heart of the spirit" throughout the run, the distillers then determine the end of the cycle and make the final cut, "the tails." This process takes approximately 7 hours and at this point, the "heart cut" is 142 proof.

STEP 4: BLENDING & BOTTLING
The "heart cut" is transferred to a blending tank where pure water is added, bringing the gin to the desired 84 proof. It is then sent to the bottling line for filling, capping, and labeling. Aviation is then packed into boxes and ready to ship.

All of our tequilas are hand-crafted, estate-grown, and made in small batches. The premium quality of our tequila is a result of the land, its water, and practices developed by our master distiller.

Since our first batch of rum was bottled and distilled in September 2009, the Kōloa Rum Company has been bringing The Spirit of Aloha to the world.

To produce Kōloa Rum, we first start with pristine rainwater from Mount Waiʻaleʻale and the nearby mountain peaks and rainforests that filtered through volcanic strata into vast underground aquifers. Our rums only use pure “tall cane” sugarcane, locally sourced coffee, chocolate and ingredients to develop authentic flavors of the spirits we produce.

Using these unique, authentic ingredients, our premium Hawaiian rums are twice-distilled, blended, bottled, and shipped directly from the distillery in Kalaheo, on the south side of the beautiful Garden Isle of Kauaʻi. The Kōloa Rum Distillery Team is proud to produce and ship across the U.S. mainland, Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Japan and Western Canada. Our rums are distilled in single batches using our vintage (circa 1947) 1,210-gallon copper-pot still, with a copper column and condenser. During the second distillation, the distillate is collected in three sections – heads, heart, and tails. Kōloa Rum uses only the heart of the batch.
