We take our delicious Copalli white rum, place it into a tank to rest with roasted, 100% organic cacao nibs grown on the neighboring Copal Tree Farm. Over several weeks, the cacao nibs infuse a rich chocolate flavor and aroma into the rum, which is then redistilled to create a smooth finished premium product that is delicious on the rocks or for your favorite rum cocktail recipes.

WhistlePig Double Malt Rye is our oldest Rye, patiently mellowed for 18 years. Before industrial distillation, America’s original farmers would malt a small portion of their grain to start fermentation, the essential step that turns water and rye into glorious whiskey. As a nod to the farmers, Double Malt Rye is crafted from a mash bill of Rye, Malted Rye and Malted Barley. History aside, these grains unite in a show-stopping Rye Whiskey that stretches far and wide across the flavor spectrum. Its base of 79% Rye delivers bold, peppery spice, while 15% Malted Rye adds soft, floral and earthy character. A final 6% of malted barley brings rich, sweet, toasted notes.

To take the expansive palate of WhistlePig Double Malt even further the 4th Edition is finished in Spanish PX Sherry Casks.  At once bold, complex, delicate and elegant, WhistlePig 18 is the whiskey that your most memorable toasts require, and a gem on any bar.

A premium rye whiskey that is handcrafted in Newport, Kentucky. The distillery is known for its commitment to traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients, and this rye whiskey is no exception.

Like the bourbon whiskey, this rye whiskey is also a single barrel expression, meaning that each bottle comes from a single barrel that has been carefully selected and aged for a minimum of four years. The barrels used are made from new charred oak, which imparts rich flavors and aromas to the whiskey.

New Riff Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey has a deep amber color and a complex flavor profile. On the nose, there are notes of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg, as well as hints of vanilla and caramel. The palate is spicy and full-bodied, with flavors of black pepper, tobacco, and dark fruit. The finish is long and warming, with a touch of sweetness that lingers on the tongue.

This rye whiskey is bottled at cask strength, which means that it is not diluted before bottling and has a higher alcohol content than many other rye whiskeys. This gives it a powerful, intense flavor that is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the flavors.

A premium mezcal that is handcrafted in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca. The mezcal is made from agave Espadin, which is harvested by hand and roasted in an underground pit oven, or "palenque," using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations.

Once the agave is roasted, it is crushed by a horse-drawn tahona, which is a large stone wheel that is used to extract the juice from the agave fibers. The juice is then fermented in open-air vats using wild yeast, which gives the mezcal its unique flavor profile.

Del Maguey San Jose Rio Minas Mezcal has a smoky, complex flavor profile that is typical of artisanal mezcal. On the nose, there are notes of roasted agave, smoke, and citrus, as well as hints of vanilla and caramel. The palate is bold and smoky, with flavors of charred wood, black pepper, and a touch of sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with a pleasant smokiness that lingers on the tongue.

This mezcal is bottled at 48% ABV, which gives it a powerful, intense flavor that is best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open up the flavors. It is a sipping mezcal that is meant to be enjoyed slowly, allowing the flavors to develop and evolve over time.

Inspired by a classic, Juniper-led London dry gin bouquet, a supporting duo of Hawke's Bay lemon peel and coriander, NDC’s New Zealand Dry Gin is a London dry like no other, super charged with up to three times the botanicals than the big brands.

Det Norske Brenneri, or "The Norwegian Distillery" as it is known in English, is situated in the town of Grimstad in the southern part of Norway. This is the first private distillery in Norway since the government dissolved the state monopoly on Spirits-making in 2005. Since then they have been producing various types of spirit including apple brandies, aquavits, gins and whiskies. They utilize traditional techniques and handraft their spirit in small batches. They produce up to 300 liters at a time. This Norweigian distillery only uses local Norwegian berries and herbs, which have a very distinctive flavor profile due to the dynamic climate. Harahorn Gin gets its name from a mountain in Hemsedal, one of the most pristine mountainous areas. The label features the mystical lepus cornutus, a giant rabbit with deer antlers. Distilled from Norwegian potato liquor, the base of this gin is comprised of Rros juniper, Nordmarka blueberries, anise, Oppdal angelica, Grimstad rhubarb, seaweed, wild Sunndal marjoram, and 16 other Norse herbs. Harahorn Gin earned the 2019 USA Spirits Ratings award for the Gin of the Year.

Based in Frisco, Texas, Devils River Whiskey was founded by Mike Cameron, co-founder of Rebecca Creek Whiskey, and president of the Texas Distilled Spirits Association. Their 90-proof bourbon is crafted from the pure Devils River spring waters. The illustrious Texas Ranger John Coffee Hays was one of the first explorers to come across it and named this impressive waterway the "Devils River" in 1840. Nowadays the naturally-filtered limestone spring water is considered the purest water in Texas. In college, Cameron would take frequent trips to the feisty Southwest Texas river, the tributary of the Del Rio that would inspire the name of his new whiskey label as well as provide a pure foundation for the whiskey. Devils River whiskey is distilled using a signature method, in traditional copper pot stills designed for distilling complex, flavorful, dark spirits. Devils River Barrel Strength Texas Bourbon Whiskey is the barrel strength, 117-proof entry in their lineup of whiskey. It's Devils River bringing you bourbon the way it was drunk originally, just like the pioneers would have it uncut and straight from the barrel. Its mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley makes for a bold, yet smooth sipper. There's pepper, rye, and oak on the nose, balanced by fruity and vanilla overtones, followed by sweet caramel, as well as more oak and spice on the palate.

Winter Barreled Gin barrel rested version of the Autumn Gin. The +6 months in the barrel adds notes of brown sugar, vanilla and caramel to the spice notes of clove and cardamom recipe. This is one crazy hybrid of gin and whiskey that holds up in an old fashioned or on its own with a cube.

Detailed Description

Brown rum distilled from fermented molasses. Minimum of 6 to 10 years in used whisky and bourbon barrels. The older of the two rums from Barrilito, the extra time spent aging is evident in this heavier rum with a slightly smoky flavor that doesn't overpower the rum flavor. Bottled at 43% alcohol by volume.

Ron del Barrilito Superior Especial 3 Star Rum Tasting Notes

Nose: The nosing finds mature smells of molasses, honey, milk chocolate and nougat.

Palate: The palate entry is a touch smoky and very sweet; the honey and molasses tastes come to the fore at the midpalate.

Finish: Finish is warm, comfortable and mature.

This is the first collectible edition of rum presented by Ron del Barrilito in more than 138 years, establishing a new era of the supreme quality of Puerto Rican rums.

However, the heart and soul of the brand remains their core bourbon, now represented by Batch #12.

For Batch #12, Rhea expertly combines 7-to-14-year-old bourbons with two distinct four-year-old bourbons. While concerns may arise about the younger spirits overshadowing the older ones, once the bottle is opened, those worries dissipate.

As the bourbon cascades into the glass, a captivating medley of aromas fills the air—sweet cornbread, nutmeg, brown sugar, and a subtle nuttiness. Soon, notes of figs and orange blossom join the ensemble, accompanied by hints of wet newspaper and lipstick. On the palate, flavors of cornbread, butterscotch, and baking spice emerge, along with a tantalizing hint of strawberry licorice reminiscent of Twizzlers candy. This fleeting sensation teases the tongue before giving way to the aforementioned robust flavors.

Despite the initial promise of the aroma, the mouthfeel remains moderate, and the midpalate seems somewhat muted, preventing the well-developed flavors from fully reaching their potential.

About the Brand

In 1862, Dupré Barbancourt founded a rum distillery in Haiti bearing his name. He applied the traditional French distillation method to sugar cane juice and the aging process in oak barrels from Limousin, as practiced in the production of cognac in his native Charente. The grand specificity of Rhum Barbancourt comes from its use of sugar cane juice (excluding molasses, a residue from the sugar-refining process which is used by other rums from the region). Sugar cane juice has a much richer flavor (wider diversity of aromas) than molasses, and that difference in the raw material distilled translates in the taste of the distilled rum.

To ensure freshness, sugar canes harvested from a 600-hectare plantation are delivered directly to the distillery. Half of it (those growing in fields around or close to the distillery) reach it by mules only. The other half (coming from other parts of the islands) are transported by mules to the tractor, then on the tractor cart to the distillery. The canes are immediately crushed to obtain sugar cane juice, called vesou. This juice is then fermented with an exclusive Barbancourt yeast that brings out fruity aromas. After distillation, the resulting rum is then left to age in oak barrels.

The Barbancourt Estate Reserve is made from pure sugar case juice, distilled and aged in French Oak barrels for 15 years. Once intended for the Gardere family, it is released each year in limited quantities to the public since 1960.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: Amber-hued

NOSE: Hints at vanilla with dried fruits, such as grapes and prunes.

PALATE: Fruity, with prune notes dominating in a fine and elegant manner.

FINISH: Long, Rich, and complex, but not overbearing. Notes on dried fruits.

This amber rum is best consumed neat, like a fine cognac.
