Produced with the same mash bill as the distillery's Small Barrel Bourbon (57% corn, 38% rye, 5% Malted Barley), Wiggly Bridge Bottled in Bond Bourbon was aged in 53 gallon barrels in a federally bonded warehouse, under U.S. government supervision, and is bottled at 100 proof/ 50% abv. Smooth and balanced with sweet notes of caramel, clove, dried fruit, lite oak and barrel char. With a finish that is very long lasting.

FLAVOUR PROFILE

A malty and creamy character develops into notes of ripe orchard fruits and delicate oak.

Mannochmore is brought to life by the hound illustration. This is a fantastic example of this enigmatic distillery with an exciting house style that is fruity and fresh. Flavours of apple, tropical fruit and crème brûlée combine to create a sophisticated crowd-pleasing single cask, single malt. Matured in hogsheads to enhance the fruity house style of this Speyside distillery. Mannochmore has warehouses capable of storing more than 250,000 casks of maturing spirit. The distillery has its own dark grains processing plant, converting draft and pot ale into animal feed. The first official single malt was only released in 1992.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Ripe pear, honeydew melon, fine oak flavour. Ripened strawberries mixed with white grapes. Obvious aromas of pear, honey, herb garden.

Palate: Mango and pear storms forward followed by oak flavour. Very full-oily mouthfeel, the strawberry grape comes back, oily-crisp. A little forest honey. Candle wax mouthfeel. Green fruit. The finish is long. With water added - less of that toasted oak notes, bright green exotic fruit salad, fresh bread, very buttery.

Finish: An elegant expression from Mannochmore, even at 55% the honey-pear-mango essence with the most pleasant toasted oak notes. Fruit salad, long – medium finish very slightly astringent, spicy oak, fresh mint, creamy banana. 

Three barrel small batch blends (all numbered sequentially). Blends vary 6-8 years years of age. The label is a collaboration with Master Distiller Greg Metze, they consistently produce top quality handcrafted vodkas, gins and bourbons. Named Colorado Distillery of the Year" by the New York International Spirits Competition for two consecutive years (2016-2017) Old Elk Distillery produces Old Elk Bourbon, Dry Town Gin, Dry Town Vodka and Nooku Bourbon Cream. Created by Curt Richardson in collaboration with Master Distiller Greg Metze, Old Elk Bourbon is a slow proofed whiskey, with a refined character. Their Nooku Bourbon cream marries the high malt 2-year-old with smooth real dairy cream. Nooku" is the Native American name for the white snowshoe rabbit. It's strong, fast, bold, yet soft and smooth character is reflected in this barrel-aged bourbon blended with ultra-smooth dairy cream.

Calumet Farm Single Rack Black 14 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey represents both the prestigious nature and hard-earned quality of a premium Kentucky straight bourbon. Tasting Notes

Color: Deep amber throughout with shimmering highlights of copper and sun-yellow

In 1838, a Creole immigrant named Antoine Peychaud opened the doors to a pharmacy on Royal Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. While Peychaud was an apothecary by trade, he was also a natural mixologist. He would often invite friends over to his pharmacy after it had closed and mix drinks for them, including a drink he crafted from brandy, absinthe, and a proprietary blend of bitters. Peychaud's cocktail became wildly popular throughout New Orleans. In 1850, Sewell Taylor owner of the Sazerac Coffee House located on Exchange Alley institutionalized the cocktail by using only Sazerac de Forge et Fils Brandy, a brandy which Taylor imported and sold exclusively. In 1869, Thomas H. Handy had purchased the Sazerac Coffee House from Taylor and was starting to acquire several liquor brands. Today Sazerac Company, Inc is one of the largest US-based spirits companies and is owned by William Goldring. Their brands include all manners of whisk(e)y, liqueurs, vodka, gin, tequila, cognac, brandy, and everything in between. Among these is Peychaud's Bitters, a brand that dates back to 1830, when it was created by the Creole apothecary Antoine Amde Peychaud. Peychaud's Aperitivo is a versatile and refreshing spirit made in the vein of Italian herbal bitter-sweet amaro liqueurs, most commonly consumed as a digestif. It's bottled at 22 proof and has a delicate balance of sweetness and bitterness with orange and fruity notes in the foreground.

After 36 years of aging, rum was put for 6 months and 14 days in previously used straight rye casks from the 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky.

TASTING NOTES
