She cant help but notice the minerality of the unique terroir where the grapes come to life under the Provenal sun. Like her, the wine has strong layers, structured with velvety tannins, expressing an intellectual depth which invites a longer conversation. Her experience moves her to a time in Southern France where she knew she was untethered by the stresses of her days, allowing her to regroup to lead the day tomorrow.

Each year, only the most outstanding small lots of Zinfandel are isolated from the many produced at Michael David to bottle under Lust. Lust is comprised of the best Zinfandel that Lodi has to offer; cherry picked right off the vine to create one sexy, showy and seductive wine. This limited production vintage possesses all the qualities expected from a luxury Zinfandel...Smooth to the core and leaves nothing to be desired.

TASTING NOTES

Seductive as its name, 2020 Lust Zinfandel is a dark ruby red beauty exuding seductive aromas of raspberry, violet, honey, almond and vanilla. Lush, sultry offerings of plum, caramel, clove and cacao are rounded out with delicate spice notes and an alluring, dark chocolate finish.

Rumbullion! is an incredible, award-winning spiced rum, exactingly blended using carefully selected Caribbean rum, Madagascan vanilla, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. It’s rich, complex and intensely decadent. It’s brilliant in the summer in all manner of cocktails, but it’s equally at home being sipped on a winter’s evening. Basically, it’s rather tasty and deserves to be drunk, whatever the weather.

It is also home to Riga Black Balsam, a traditional Latvian vodka-based herbal liqueur.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Visually, the Ruinart Blanc de Blancs has a brilliant robe with a beautiful pale yellow color and slight hints of almond green and jade green reflections.

THE NOSE: The first nose reveals intense aromas of fresh fruit: ripe lemon, juicy pear, or freshly picked peach. The secondary aromas are more floral with hints of white flowers, accompanied by a spicy touch combining ginger and pink peppercorns.

PALATE: Balancing tension with roundness, the enveloping structure is highlighted by fresh aromas of ripe citrus and tropical fruit. With a long and delicate finale.
