INSPIRED BY THE FAMED MASKED WRESTLERS OF MEXICO, tequilero David Ravandi has created El Luchador, a unique, artisanal portfolio of outstanding tequila expressions: Still Strength Blanco, Blanco, Reposado and Anejo. Since his entrée into the artisanal tequila business in the mid-1990s, Ravandi has ushered several brands to international success. His El Luchador portfolio was inspired by the instantly recognizable - masks and the acrobatic showmanship of Mexico’s colorful lucha libre wrestlers. The connection between tequila and lucha libre - two of Mexico’s most treasured cultural institutions – represents a long-standing tradition, one that inspired El Luchador

El Luchador Anejo

We’ll release our Anejo which spends a total of fourteen to sixteen months resting in white oak barrels in 2022. That additional time in French white oak adds increasing layers of complexity with notes of deeply roasted agave, caramelized citrus and dark vanilla.  A release of an El Luchador Extra Anejo is scheduled within the next three years.

Using his know how of distilling traditional London Dry Gin, Tom created The Gardener with a modern twist.  To achieve his vision of a perfect gin, he chose each of The Gardener’s ingredients with an uncompromising sense of quality. Tom’s recipe is a unique creation distilled with fresh citruses – bitter orange Bigarade, sweet orange and pink grapefruit – grown locally in the heart of the French Riviera. Fresh and soft, subtle and pure, The Gardener is a study in elegance and harmony—the very image of nature itself.

Las Vegas Global Spirit Awards 2022 - Gold Medal

Situated about 10 Km from Dijon, Gevrey-Chambertin is one of the finest viticultural villages of the Côte de Nuits. In 1847 Gevrey-Chambertin was the first village of the Côte d'Or to join the village name with that of one of its Grand Crus - hence 'Gevrey-en-Montagne' became 'Gevrey-Chambertin. Planted only with Pinot Noir, here one finds the complete hierarchy of the Burgundian appellations: to the north, the premiers crus and to the south the grand crus. The village appellations are gathered on the bottom of the slope. The sparse and pebbly limestone-rich brown-red soils give Gevrey-Chambertin wines power and body. A great Côte de Nuits classic!

Tasting Note
Our 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin has a deep ruby color and a bouquet of underbrush and licorice. Its round mouth with silky tannins reveals mocha and licorice aromas.

1x Bruichladdich Islay Barley (200ml, 50% ABV) Unpeated, honey, citrus and sea salt. 1x Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie (200ml, 50% ABV) Unpeated, fruity, floral and elegant. This is Bruichladdich signature style. 1x Port Charlotte Scottish Barley (200ml, 50% ABV) Heavily peated, smoky sweetness. Full of depth and complexity.

Distillery Information

Bruichladdich is living proof that the traditional whisky regions of Scotland make no sense. Please dont think that labelling a whisky Islay has anything to do with taste because the truth is far more complicated and interesting. Built in 1881 when puffer-supplied coal was available as an alternative fuel to local peat, it is likely that Bruichladdich was specifically designed to produce the purest unpeated spirit possible. The great Alfred Barnard supports this view with a tantalising clue the Laddie is the only distillery on Islay that he does not describe as drying its malt using peat in his fascinating exploration of the island's distilleries in 1885.

Our founder, born and raised in California, is both wildly passionate about both wine and whiskey. His love for excellent bourbon coupled with his access to fresh Central Coast cabernet sauvignon casks combined for a truly exceptional whiskey. We are proud to present our California Oak Straight Kentucky Bourbon, which earned a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition right out of the gate in 2020. This bourbon beautifully represents its dual citizenship by showcasing the superiority of Kentucky distilled and aged bourbon, as well as the rich nuanced complexities of California's Central Coast cabernet. 

​TASTING NOTES

COLOR: Red-Amber

AROMA: Mild oak/woody aroma, subtle fruit layered over a deeper dark cherry note and hints of baking spices.

TASTE: Caramel body and balanced sugars, dates, persimmons and cranberry essence.

FINISH:Peppery with cabernet tannins, fruity body and sweetened honeycomb-like finish.

This warm, oak driven bourbon is made in preparation for winter, inspired by the Hunter’s Moon of October. It is marked by a high rye spice and a robust woodiness meant for the time of year when days get shorter and the nights get longer.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR:  Golden Caramel.

Nose: Very warm, rounded vanilla and butterscotch aromas initially, giving way to honeysuckle and ripened mango.

Palate: Bright cinnamon at first, leading into flamed orange peel, then savory, earthy notes of black plum and petrichor.

Finish: Sweet and upbeat medium finish that tapers off gracefully.

WITH A SPLASH OF WATER: The layer of fruity, floral aromas is activated with a splash of water. The nose gives ripe mango, coconut, and tangerine, the palate is toasted salted cashew and lemon balm, and the finish is longer and leaner, like a walk down a long dock at the beach.

Made from vodka distilled six times blended with tequila made from pure blue agave. This unique spirit features a super clean taste and rich aromas. Sure to pack a punch!

A 6 month accelerated-aged Kentucky Bourbon. WBW has a unique flavor with a light front end of Cabernet berries with a smooth bourbon middle and a long-lasting Carmel finish on the back of the mouth. The mash was made in Kentucky, then sent in barrels to a manufacturer to accelerate the aging process by using ultrasonic waves (more Bourbon to stave contact). The Bourbon was then finished at our San Diego distillery in French Oak Cabernet wine barrels used to make Charles Woodson's Napa Valley wine.
