Girvan distillery is located on the Clyde, in the coastal Lowlands. William Grant & Sons decided to build Girvan after a dispute with Distillers Company Limited. They decided to run a TV ad for Standfast Whisky from Grant's, DCL was against this, so WGS decided to build the Girvan distillery. They did it in just 9 months. Original Coffey stills were used until 1995. Nowadays Girvan uses 6 column stills for its production. The distillery mainly produces grain Whisky for brands as well as Hendrick's Gin. It was also a site for Ladyburn Whisky at one point.

Aroma and Taste

Nose: Maple syrup, honeycomb and soft cedar spiciness.

Palate: Orange peels, confectioner's sugar, honey and toasted cereals.

Finish: Long and full of dried fruits, the vanilla and oak standing out amongst it all.

This distinguished straight rye whiskey is hand-crafted from rye and other grains which are 100% locally grown in New York State. Aged two to three years, this rye begins its journey in new American oak barrels and is then finished for at least one year in used Cabernet Sauvignon barrels.  Notably bottled at cask strength, this impressive rye is incredibly complex and compares favorably to even the most prestigious names in the category.

In memory of grandfather Antonio we celebrate the Return to the Origins with Amaro Nonino Quintessentia® by creating a RISERVA which boasts more than 24 months of natural ageing in oak barriques and small casks.
Antonio Nonino, third generation of the family of Distillers, used to keep Amaro Carnia in small wooden casks. Steel was prohibitive. The infusion in contact with wood evolved and was enriched with new notes and new aromas.
Although there is no clear regulation on the aging of liqueurs, in respect of the philosophy that has always accompanied us, aging takes place in a dedicated cellar, under seal and permanent surveillance by the Customs and Monopoly Office: the result is extraordinary!

A return to the origins, Antonio Nonino’s ancient recipe meets again the softness of aging in barriques and small casks.

TASTING NOTES

With great softness, the citrous notes are lessened and it gains great elegance declined in different and enveloping notes. At the beginning autumnal brushwood and moss fragrances that leave way to scents of raisins and passito. Balsamic scents that balance the bitter notes of rhubarb, scent of flamed orange and caramelized vanilla, great persistence and intensity.

New for 2018, Old Pulteney's 18 Year Old is aged in both ex-bourbon and Spanish oak casks. This is an intense and warming incarnation of the beloved maritime malt.

Our Reposado Cristalino is a one-of-a-kind, complex and smooth tequila. Crafted from hand-selected piñas which are harvested at peak maturity from our family farms and then roasted in traditional stone ovens. Aged for months in Eastern European oak barrels and finished in California Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. Then, as a final step, the tequila is slow-filtered to create a rich, complex and ultra-smooth crystal-clear Cristalino tequila that you will love drinking.

The origins of Smirnoff brand go back to the distillery that Piotr Arseneevich (PA) established in Moscow in the late 1800s. Today, Smirnoff is the world's best-selling vodka.

Mistral Nobel Pisco is a brandy distilled from grapes and produced in Chile's Elqui Valley. It has a 40% ABV and is aged in American oak barrels for 1-3 years. The pisco is made from Muscatel of Alexandria and Pedro Jimenez grapes. This Pisco has a soft consistency and a wood scent. It has flavors of baked red apples, cinnamon, banana bread, and dried rose petals. Some say it has a silky and chewy texture. Mistral Nobel Pisco is named in honor of Gabriela Mistral, a Chilean recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature

THE WISEMAN Straight Rye is a traditional Rye made with a mash bill of 95% Rye. A spicy nose progresses to the taste, filling the mouth and tickling the tastebuds. The long finish starts as fresh rye bread and moves slowly toward buttered cinnamon toast, ending with just a hint of English walnut.
