In 1805, the Mitchell & Sons Wine Merchants Company was established in the heart of Dublin, Ireland. By the turn of the 19th century, the Mitchells sold a range of Irish whiskeys under the name "Spot." This name originated from the company's practice of marking casks of different ages with a spot of colored paint. As a result, Mitchell & Sons sold whiskeys named Blue Spot, Yellow Spot and Red Spot, although Green Spot emerged as their most popular brand. Today, Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey continues to be crafted in the heart of Ireland. The whiskey is made from malted and unmalted barley, which are milled and mashed before being distilled through a traditional pot still. Following distillation, the whiskey is matured in a combination of American oak casks that were previously used to mature bourbon (75%) and European oak casks that were previously used to mature sherry (25%). Once the whiskey has matured for eight to nine years, the casks are blended together and brought to proof. "Pot Still Whiskeys define the traditional flavor character of Irish whiskey and we have seen a renewed interest and growth in the category over the last few years," says Brian Nation, the master distiller at Midleton Distillery, which makes Green Spot Whiskey. Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey has an aroma of butterscotch, caramel, honeyed oak, pine and orange that gives way to notes of citrus, tart apples, plums and apricots on the palate. The finish is smooth yet slightly spicy, with a touch of cinnamon and ginger. This Green Spot edition comes from an inspired series that uses Montelena Zinfandel barrels to finish the Green Spot whiskey. These barrels impart a unique spicy berry notes to the already fruit-heavy whiskey. Green Spot Chateau Montelena is the 2nd release of the Wine Geese series, which was released in 2015 when Green Spot Chateau Loville Barton was launched. Chateau Montelena is crafted from a blend of 7 to 10 year old whiskeys. Before being finished for one year in French oak Zinfandel casks sourced from Chateau Montelena.

Byrrh Grand Quinquina is made to the original late-19th century recipe that earned worldwide fame and inspired fifty years of evocative poster art. Byrrh combines a generous, port-like wine and mistelle base with a firm backbone of natural quinine to produce a fruity, refreshing aperitif by itself, with tonic and a twist, or paired with blue cheese. In cocktails, Byrrh mixes well with vodka, gin, cognac, tequila, Irish whiskey, and grapefruit. Byrrh is produced in Thuir, in the heart of French Catalan territory, near the coast and border with Spain.

Van Gogh Vodka is owned by Luctor International, and has been handcrafted in small batches from wheat corn and barley at the The Royal Dirkzwager Distillery for over 133 years. The vodka is triple distilled, twice in column stills and then a third time in a traditional pot still. During the 17th century, Cornelius Van Brunt one of the founding fathers of Brooklyn farmed land alongside the banks of Gowanus Creek, while helping forge the eclectic society that became Brooklyn. In the 1800s, as the population of New York mushroomed and its waterways became vital hubs for maritime travel, the Brooklyn waterfront became home to some gin, rum, and whiskey distilleries. Prohibition forced the distillery to close, and it wasnt until the new 21st century that distillation resumed. Opened in 2012 Van Brunt Stillhouse honors the pioneering spirit of Cornelius Van Brunt, one of the founding fathers of the area. Founded by Daric Schlesselman who first began by producing the first Rum from Brooklyn since the Prohibition era. Soon after releasing the rum, the brand started producing other spirits such as Grappa and other grain distillates. Daric, a former editor at The Daily Show, left behind the world of television and followed his dreams of reincarnating the of Spirits of the past. This special four grain Brooklyn Stillhouse whiskey is distilled primarily from malted barley and wheat, with a small portion of corn, and rye for good measure. This four grain recipe harkens back to a pre industrial farmhouse style (producer). Expect grassy, floral notes alongside fresh oaky, bourbon sweetness followed by hints of tobacco, and a delicate, lingering finish.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A gentle Kintyre coastal breeze, redolent with damp peat, identifies this as one of Campbeltown’s finest. Fresh orchard fruit, orange zest, heather and honey combine with malt and vanilla notes to offer a warm welcome to Springbank’s flagship malt.

Palate: Equal measures of complexity and robustness with an oily mouthfeel and plenty of spice, pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon. The orchard fruit and malt notes from the nose continue, providing balance and character.

Finish: Sweet salted caramel, toffee and drying peat prolong to round off this signature malt.

This Greek drink is specially made by distilling only the "tears," or droplets of resin, of the treasured mastic tree, also known as Pistacia lentiscus var. Chia. This unique tree has been highly valued for centuries. The mastic tears yield a dry, elegant, bold, aromatic spirit. The mastic distillate is notorious for its bountiful health benefits, even treasured by the ancient Romans, who used to use Mastiha to give their wines fragrance. Mastic Tears is perfect for cocktails but can also be enjoyed neat, chilled, and as a digestif. Enjoy well chilled as a shot, in cocktails or as an after dinner digestif. This sweet and refreshing spirit earned a Gold medal at the 2017 Berlin International Spirits Competition.

Brockmans unique recipe of naturally grown aromatic botanicals are steeped in pure grain spirit for many hours to release their natural oils and aromas. The more traditional notes of gin are combined with a refreshing influence of citrus and aromatic wild berries. Bulgarian coriander plays its part, providing an aromatic, gingery orange top note. This blends perfectly with the soft and rounded harmonies of blueberries and blackberries, all of which is supported by the bottom note of Tuscan juniper berries. Dry, bittersweet Valencian orange peel elongates the deeper tones and gives an intensely smooth finish.

Thereafter, Brockmans is slowly distilled in a 100 year old traditional copper still, where we capture the heart of the gin distillation. The distinctive gin notes derived from Brockmans unique recipe deliver an exquisite intensely smooth gin, with a uniquely defining sensual taste experience.

El Gobernador Pisco Chileno Reservado stands as a revered Chilean spirit, crafted from Muscat grapes grown in Chilean valleys. Its name pays homage to colonial governors, while "Reservado" highlights its premium quality. Handpicked grapes undergo a meticulous copper pot still distillation, resulting in a complex, floral aroma and a smooth, fruity palate with subtle spice. Renowned for its versatility, it's enjoyed neat or in cocktails, symbolizing Chilean heritage and craftsmanship.

William Grant & Sons in launched the Hendrick's Dry Gin in 1999 as an addition to the portfolio of spirits and brands produced at the Girvan Distillery in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Thus it is famously known as The Scottish Gin. The Hendrick's line was a nearly instantaneous success due to it's unique flavor profile. That profile is achieved principally through two factors the botanical mix and the distillation technique. In addition to the traditional infusions of juniper and citrus, Hendrick's signature botanicals include cucumber and Belgian rose. Distillation is completed in two parts. First the spirit is purified in an antique Carter-Head still which yields a very high initial proof. For the second distillation, the botanicals are added and allowed to steep for 24 hours. Then they are distilled in a small, Bennett pot still which maintains a high proof while allowing the heavier spirits and esters to pass through. This yields a heavier spirits with a desirable oily mouthfeel. This signature base Gin is their core offering and form the base for all of their other products. Their newest release, Hendricks Orbium Gin is a custom formulation by their master distiller Lesley Gracie. Produced in astonishingly small batches of 500 liters each, Orbium is a quininated Gin. This means that, in addition to special extracts of blue lotus blossom snd wormwood, quinine is one of the major infusions. And that makes sense when you remember that the most famous Gin cocktail in the world in the G&T Gin and Tonic. And tonic water is a cocktail mixer made with quinine. In this way it is akin to experiencing a G&T at full strength. The gentle flavors combine to make Hendricks Orbium Gin nearly a cocktail in itself. You can definitely take it as a sipping Gin. The Red Dragon is the national flag of Wales and the Royal Welsh badge bears the motto, ‘Y ddraig goch ddyry cychwyn’, which translates as ‘The red dragon inspires action.’ It features in ancient Welsh tales and was the battle standard of legendary Welsh princes. Welshman Henry Tudor took the flag to Bosworth, where, in 1485, he became the last king of England to be crowned on the battlefield.

Celt is a single malt whisky finished in ex-peated quarter casks, bottled at 43%. This whisky has a Kosher certificate.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Mild aromas of peat smoke, early morning at the rocky seaside and warm marmalade on toast all compete for our attention.

Palate: It begins with great sweetness before the smoky, slightly medicinal flavours descend.

Finish: Slight bitterness follows that leaves a long and lingering freshness in the mouth.

Levon cognac was established in Cognac Le Magnifique is made solely from grapes found in the two highest-quality crus (vineyard areas), Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne, located in the heart of the Cognac region. In the Petite Champagne and Grande Champagne crus, the soil consists of a thin layer of clay-limestone covering a deeper layer of limestone and chalk. Grande Champagne features rolling hills, while Petite Champagne features rolling hills, while Petite Champagne is more compact. However, the chalky soil found in both crus provides the optimal growing conditions for aromatic, flavorful grapes. This compelling blend is a charming blend of hundreds of eaux de vie aged for at least 10 years, hand-selected from the Cognac region's two finest crus, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.

Oppidian Spirits was founded in 2015 by Jeff Walsh, pegging itself as the new American school of distilling. A technique involving traditional distilling techniques and more modern innovative ways of distilling. Known for their unique Solera Aged Bourbon, made using a rum technique to create a younger, more complex bourbon, they now have a complete line of paradigm-shifting experimental spirits. The majority of Oppidian whiskeys are fairly young, and their overall incredible quality and taste are a testament to the value of innovation over age statement.This two-year four-grain whiskey is crafted from 68% corn, 15% wheat, 9% rye and 9% malt. This is a blend of three 53 gallon Kelvin Cooperage #3 char barrels, filled between November 2015 and January 2016.
