Código 1530 Reposado combines the purity of our Blanco and the elegance of our aging process. Aged for six months in the finest Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels, Código 1530 Reposado embraces the agave-driven flavors of Los Bajos tequila, with subtle hints of many of the signature flavors found in whiskeys.

Production Notes

Our barrels are charred by hand, on-site at our private distillery in Amatitán.

We age our tequila to taste instead of time, adhering to a time-honored family aging process.

A mastery of blending to create a bold, new offering. It tempts palates with a revolutionary taste profile that can only be born from the powerful blend of key Johnnie Walker Black Label tasting notes and rye whisky flavors. Johnnie Walker High Rye Blended Scotch Whisky features a unique mash bill of 60% rye aged in American oak barrels, and includes notable single malts from distilleries such as Cardhu, an important part of the Johnnie Walker Black Label flavor. The result is a balance of sweet vanilla notes and the spiciness of rye that become revealed through subtle wisps of warm smoke.

A New World Gin made in small, 3,000 bottle batches in historic Charleston, South Carolina, best served on the rocks with a slice of lemon and fresh mint.

Launched with the 1990 vintage in 1993, Bin 407 was developed in response to the increasing availability of high quality cabernet sauvignon fruit. Inspired by Bin 707, Bin 407 offers varietal definition and approachability, yet still with structure and depth of flavour. Textbook cabernet sauvignon, the varietally expressive Bin 407 highlights the rewards of Penfolds multi-region, multi-vineyard blending, with a core of ripe fruit supported by sensitive use of French and American oak.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Inspired by Japanese traditions and the famous Yuzu lemon, Yu Gin offers: freshness, subtlety and a wealth of aromas, all in an originally designed glass bottle reminiscent of a Zen garden.

YUZU

Used by the greatest chefs and perfumers, yuzu has also been beloved by the Japanese for ages for its relaxing and refreshing properties both in Japanese cuisine and in centuries old customs such as Yuzuyu, where the fruit is floated in the hot water of a bath on tōji (winter solstice), to guard against colds, warm the body and relax the mind.

TASTING NOTES

Distilled with juniper berries and enhanced with yuzu, Szechuan pepper, coriander, and licorice. A pronounced citrus nose and a perfectly balanced botanical taste with a subtle peppery finish.  Yu Gin can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a classic G&T cocktail as a refreshing aperitif.

Blended Bourbon Whiskey

The Three Chord flagship small batch is bottled at an easy-drinking 81 proof, featuring up to 12 year old whiskys from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee to create a smooth, aromatic and versatile bourbon whiskey.

Our secondary, controlled, wood-charring process reintroduces compounds to create its maple syrup, caramel, and vanilla character. Integrating the additional toasted White American Oak staves brings depth of flavor and a hint of smokiness. We bottle our 100% blended bourbon 250 gallons at a time for a consistent flavor profile and quality taste. 

MASH BILL: 73%Corn / 20% Rye / 7% Malted Barley. We are considered a medium-high rye bourbon.

TASTING NOTES

APPEARANCE: Clear, Dark Mahogany- Pretzel.

AROMA: Maple Syrup, Caramel and Vanilla.

TASTE: Complex, grassy, slightly sweet with hints of spice that gives way to a light citrus fruit and a mild charred oak.

FINISH: A refined and lingering, honeycomb finish, with a mild hug!

Hand-crafted in the village of Las Milpas overlooking rolling pastures and nestled among cornfields. Agave: Espadín. Naturally fermented and twice distilled in wood-fired copper stills. Nose of slate and tropical fruit, palate of citrus, lavender and pea shoots, with a long dry finish. ABV 46.

Central to the flavor profiles created at El Pandillo is the source of water used and in the case of Terralta, it all comes from a deep well, 150 meters down in the earth. What does this mean for flavor? To answer this question, we will first have to talk about the two other water sources at the distillery for contrast.

First, there is the harvested rain water, and secondly, a fresh spring. These two sources are used in a close to 50/50 ratio for 3 of the 4 other brands made at El Pandillo - Pasote, G4, and ArteNOM. The flavors here are clean and crisp, as one would expect from rain water, backed by floral and herbal notes. Volans, the 4th brand produced at 1579 is a blend of spring and well water, and it’s here where the minerality of the earth encasing the deep well begins to come through. But in Terralta, as it’s only source for water, the soil and earth are king.

Where the other profiles are lofty and light, you’ll find Terralta firmly secured in the ground from which the agave grow. The soils of Los Altos are rich in iron, giving them a red coloring, and softness compared to the rockier soils of the Valley of Tequila.

We find it hard to do anything halfway. So when we make our Very Special Old Reserve blend, we really go all out. We wanted it to be rich, have a great body, a nice smell, an exceptional taste and leave a nice feeling in your mouth. It was not easy, but we managed to get it done. This well-aged, premium rum has it all - a beautiful mahogany colour, a lovely toffee, vanilla and oak aroma, a taste suggestive of bourbon and vanilla and a warm oak aftertaste.
