El Tesoro de Don Felipe tequila honors Don Felipe Camarena, the man who established La Altea Distillery in 1937, where El Tesoro continues to be distilled today. For nearly three centuries, Ichiro Akuto's family brewed sake along the banks of the Tone River in Central Japan. Following the end of World War II, his family received a distiller's license and purchased two second-hand stills from a Scottish distillery. By the turn of the century, however, his father had made the difficult decision to dismantle the stills and sell the 400 casks of remaining whisky that were still maturing in the distillery's rickhouses. Fueled by a belief in the potential for Japanese single malts, Ichiro purchased the casks from his father. Also, Ichiro began studying distillation techniques at Benriach and Springbank Distillery, before returning to Japan and constructing a state-of-the-art distillery in Chichibu. Ichiro's Malt & Grain is blended by the king of independent Japanese distillers: Ichiro Akuto. Ichiro's blend is a worldwide blended whisky in every sense of the word, a marriage of whiskies from Ichiro's very own young malt & grain whisky stock, and whiskies from eight other distilleries in Scotland, Canada, England, Ireland and the U.S., which founder Ichiro Akuto refers to as, "the big five." These international whiskies mature for 3-5 years in their home country, and then for an additional 1-3 years in thecool climate ofmountainous Japan, which gives this blend incredible character. This whisky is clean on the nose with notes of fruit, vanilla and oak.

Bourbon that meets these requirements and that has been aged for a minimum of at least two years may be called straight bourbon. Very Old Barton is a Kentucky straight bourbon that has been matured for an average of four to six years in charred, American oak casks before being bottled at 100 proof. As a result, the bourbon has a rich amber color along with an aroma of vanilla beans and chewy leather. Notes of rich caramel, nougat, rye spices and toffee dominate the palate, and lead to a bold finish. The bourbon was named one of the "Best Budget Bourbons" by Serious Eats and "Best Buy Whiskey of the Year" by Whisky Advocate. 

Casa Dragones Barrel Blend, 100% Blue Agave Añejo sipping tequila, achieves its distinctive character from being matured in two different wood barrels, new French Oak and new American Oak, each selected for their individual flavor and characteristics. At the end of the aging process, both barrel styles are blended together to create a uniquely smooth, agave-forward taste profile.

Using whey alcohol from the local dairy farmers here in Cork, together with our own natural well water and an interesting mix of foraged and sustainably sourced botanicals, we have hand-crafted a gin that highlights the character of Bertha in her prime.

And what a name!! The mere mention of it raises eyebrows, poses question, taxes the mind and brings a smile to the lips. Hurrah, our work here is nearly done!

Like any good Irish tale, the story behind our wonderful Bertha’s Revenge Gin is a tapestry of good fortune, endeavour and passion. Funnily enough, our gin took about 10 months from conception to birth, not a dissimilar length of time to the average gestation period for a cow!

Glenallachie is situated in Banffshire, at the foot of Ben Rinnes, neighboring several other distilleries. Founded in 1967 by Mackinlay McPherson Ltd Glenallachie is one of the youngest distilleries in Scotland. In 1989 Campbell Distillers acquired The GlenAllachie Distillery, starting production run that lasted for nearly 30 years. In 2017 Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson came together to acquire the GlenAllachie facility reincarnating the distillery as The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited. The highly anticipated core range of the GlenAllachie distillery from Speyside was finally launched in July 2018. The water for the distillery comes from the dam heads over 2 miles from the distillery. Henshead and Blackstank flow into Beachshach Burn, which supplies the water directly to the distillery, and sits on the North East of BenRinnes. The distillery was designed to be gravity fed, created with horizontal condensers that maintain a consistent temperature, or increase/decrease to alter the character of the spirit. Using a vast amount of aged stock that was obtained along with the distillery, dating back as far as the 1970's GlenAllachie Master Distiller Billy Walker has masterfully created a signature single malt. The most important release in the history of The GlenAllachie Distillers Company; GlenAllachie 12 Year Old, is the heart of their range, a landmark bottling, selected and bottled under the careful eye of Master Distiller Billy Walker. Earning a Gold medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this 12 year showcases whisky matured in Pedro Ximnez sherry, oloroso sherry, and virgin oak casks.

Braulio is an Italian aged Amaro with a unique and balsamic profile that captures the distinctive aromas and flavours of nature in the Stelvio park in northern Italy

APPEARANCE: Amber brown with reddish hints.

NOSE: Notes of wood and roots, from which Gentian root stands out, rounded out with refreshing fragrances of juniper and aromatic herbs and wormwood on the finish.

PALATE: Robust and intense taste of herbs and essential oils, followed by classic notes of wood and roots, and ending with a pleasant bitterness.

AFTERTASTE: Full-bodied and persistent aftertaste with delicate bitter notes of Gentian root and wormwood.
