DOS PASIONES TEPEZTATE:

Our Tepeztate comes from wild agaves that grows in our village mountains between the rocks and cliffs. Unlike the Tobalá, this agave is big in size but produces very little nectar due to the dry and arid regions where it grows. Additionally, Tepeztate takes between 12 to 20 years to be ready for harvest.

TASTING NOTES

AROMA: Fruity, berries, tropical, fruit loops, watermelon rind, mineral soil, and sweet herbs.

FLAVOR: Hints of vanilla, mildly spicy with orange zest.

Central City Brewery’s master brewer Gary Lohin and master distiller Stuart McKinnon tag teamed to produce this single malt Canadian whisky. This single malt has been aged for three years in ex-bourbon barrels then bottled at 43%. Exclusive to Canada.

Founded in 1952, the Kumesen Syuzo Distilling Co began distilling spirits made from Long Grain Indica Rice and fermented with native Black Koji. Distilled in a 450-liter Christian Carl pot still manufactured in Goppingen, Germany, Dry Fly Gin is handcrafted by Don Poffenroth and Kent Fleischmann, the master distillers at Dry Fly Distilling. After training in distillery operation withAlexander Plank and Nick Haasein Germany, Don and Kent opened the doors of Dry Fly Distillery in 2007, making it the first legal distillery in Washington state since Prohibition. Don and Kent have embraced a grains-to-glass approach to craft distilling they use only locally-sourced grains and botanicals grown at sustainable farms.
